Into the midst of the silence the priest's voice broke sad and deliberate, but consoling: "God will forgive you, Señor--Simoun, " he said. "He knows that we are fallible, He has seen that you have suffered, and in ordaining that the chastisement for your faults should come as death from the very ones you have instigated to crime, we can see His infinite mercy. He has frustrated your plans one by one, the best conceived, first by the death of Maria Clara, then by a lack of preparation, then in some mysterious way. Let us bow to His will and render Him thanks!"

"According to you, then," feebly responded the sick man, "His will is that these islands--"

"Should continue in the condition in which they suffer?" finished the priest, seeing that the other hesitated. "I don't know, sir, I can't read the thought of the Inscrutable. I know that He has not abandoned those peoples who in their supreme moments have trusted in Him and made Him the Judge of their cause, I know that His arm has never failed when, justice long trampled upon and every recourse gone, the oppressed have taken up the sword to fight for home and wife and children, for their inalienable rights, which, as the German poet says, shine ever there above, unextinguished and inextinguishable, like the eternal stars themselves. No, God is justice, He cannot abandon His cause, the cause of liberty, without which no justice is possible."

"Why then has He denied me His aid?" asked the sick man in a voice charged with bitter complaint.

"Because you chose means that He could not sanction," was the severe reply. "The glory of saving a country is not for him who has contributed to its ruin. You have believed that what crime and iniquity have defiled and deformed, another crime and another iniquity can purify and redeem. Wrong! Hate never produces anything but monsters and crime criminals! Love alone realizes wonderful works, virtue alone can save! No, if our country has ever to be free, it will not be through vice and crime, it will not be so by corrupting its sons, deceiving some and bribing others, no! Redemption presupposes virtue, virtue sacrifice, and sacrifice love!"

"Well, I accept your explanation, " rejoined the sick man, after a pause. "I have been mistaken, but, because I have been mistaken, will that God deny liberty to a people and yet save many who are much worse criminals than I am? What is my mistake compared to the crimes of our rulers? Why has that God to give more heed to my iniquity than to the cries of so many innocents? Why has He not stricken me down and then made the people triumph? Why does He let so many worthy and just ones suffer and look complacently upon their tortures?"

"The just and the worthy must suffer in order that their ideas may be known and extended! You must shake or shatter the vase to spread its perfume, you must smite the rock to get the spark! There is something providential in the persecutions of tyrants, Señor Simoun!"

"I knew it," murmured the sick man, "and therefore I encouraged the tyranny."

"Yes, my friend, but more corrupt influences than anything else were spread. You fostered the social rottenness without sowing an idea. From this fermentation of vices loathing alone could spring, and if anything were born overnight it would be at best a mushroom, for mushrooms only can spring spontaneously from filth. True it is that the vices of the government are fatal to it, they cause its death, but they kill also the society in whose bosom they are developed. An immoral government presupposes a demoralized people, a conscienceless administration, greedy and servile citizens in the settled parts, outlaws and brigands in the mountains. Like master, like slave! Like government, like country!"

A brief pause ensued, broken at length by the sick man's voice. "Then, what can be done?"

"Suffer and work!"

"Suffer--work!" echoed the sick man bitterly. "Ah, it's easy to say that, when you are not suffering, when the work is rewarded. If your God demands such great sacrifices from man, man who can scarcely count upon the present and doubts the future, if you had seen what I have, the miserable, the wretched, suffering unspeakable tortures for crimes they have not committed, murdered to cover up the faults and incapacity of others, poor fathers of families torn from their homes to work to no purpose upon highways that are destroyed each day and seem only to serve for sinking families into want. Ah, to suffer, to work, is the will of God! Convince them that their murder is their salvation, that their work is the prosperity of the home! To suffer, to work! What God is that?"

"A very just God, Señor Simoun," replied the priest. "A God who chastises our lack of faith, our vices, the little esteem in which we hold dignity and the civic virtues. We tolerate vice, we make ourselves its accomplices, at times we applaud it, and it is just, very just that we suffer the consequences, that our children suffer them. It is the God of liberty, Señor Simoun, who obliges us to love it, by making the yoke heavy for us--a God of mercy, of equity, who while He chastises us, betters us and only grants prosperity to him who has merited it through his efforts. The school of suffering tempers, the arena of combat strengthens the soul.

"I do not mean to say that our liberty will be secured at the sword's point, for the sword plays but little part in modern affairs, but that we must secure it by making ourselves worthy of it, by exalting the intelligence and the dignity of the individual, by loving justice, right, and greatness, even to the extent of dying for them,--and when a people reaches that height God will provide a weapon, the idols will be shattered, the tyranny will crumble like a house of cards and liberty will shine out like the first dawn.

"Our ills we owe to ourselves alone, so let us blame no one. If Spain should see that we were less complaisant with tyranny and more disposed to struggle and suffer for our rights, Spain would be the first to grant us liberty, because when the fruit of the womb reaches maturity woe unto the mother who would stifle it! So, while the Filipino people has not sufficient energy to proclaim, with head erect and bosom bared, its rights to social life, and to guarantee it with its sacrifices, with its own blood; while we see our countrymen in private life ashamed within themselves, hear the voice of conscience roar in rebellion and protest, yet in public life keep silence or even echo the words of him who abuses them in order to mock the abused; while we see them wrap themselves up in their egotism and with a forced smile praise the most iniquitous actions, begging with their eyes a portion of the booty--why grant them liberty? With Spain or without Spain they would always be the same, and perhaps worse! Why independence, if the slaves of today will be the tyrants of tomorrow? And that they will be such is not to be doubted, for he who submits to tyranny loves it.

"Señor Simoun, when our people is unprepared, when it enters the fight through fraud and force, without a clear understanding of what it is doing, the wisest attempts will fail, and better that they do fail, since why commit the wife to the husband if he does not sufficiently love her, if he is not ready to die for her?"

Sir Michel Poitevin, KOR Deputy Commander of Dimasalang île de France Chapter

Ladies and gentlemen,

It is a very emotional moment for me, and a great honour to receive this fourth degree of knighthood, Knight Grand Officer of Rizal, KGOR. To my knowledge, I am the first Frenchman to be conferred this degree. I hope that I shall not be the only one.

I know that my exaltation does not please everyone. There are many who would also like to have the rank of KGOR. But I must inform you, that my elevation to the fourth degree of knighthood comes with the election of a new Supreme Commander and a new Supreme Council, who together have militated for very strict qualifications for this rank.

It is therefore not just a question of simply organizing a chapter or donating money or being a member of several associations. It is an accumulation of works and services to the community and it is expression of Rizalian values in one's life and dealing with others.

Nor is it the influence of any one single person. Nine members of Supreme Council voted unanimously and nine members of Council of Elders also voted unanimously. Never have I asked for any advantages or any awards, but always for others. I must also say, and very honestly so, I would never have deserved this honour without the support of our own Knights.

Now, on this special occasion, I would like to share with you my personal reflections. In France, the Order of the Knights de Rizal is often confused with the numerous other Philippine associations. Some of our own former Officers and Knights have led to this confusion by not appreciating the specific distinction of the Order of the Knights of Rizal, that it is not just another association like all the rest. These persons took advantage of their position within our Order to commit errors, some even criminal, and break away from the ideals of Rizal. The reputation of our Order was sullied and lost its respect.

Within the Dimasalang île de France Chapter, the Knights tried extra hard to be rigorous, firm and determined in their actions and in the application of the statutes. Paris Chapter has done the same. By doing so, they both have restored dignity to our Order.

The Knights of Rizal is not at all like any other association. The Order of the Knights of Rizal is a civic and patriotic Order and its statutes are enshrined in Republic Act 646.

To become a member is like receiving a distinction of honour. We should not disgrace this honour. I consider the Order of the Knights of Rizal like the French Orders, like the Legion of Honour or the National Order of Merit, though with the added philosophical perspective of Rizal.

It is therefore an honour and a privilege to be a member of the Order of the Knights of Rizal. And we should work hard to deserve membership in this prestigious Order, by our acts, by our example, by our irreproachable behaviour. The value of our own example is the greatest thing we can legate to our children, as José Rizal did during his short life.

He showed us the example to follow and he set out for us an ideal. Let us therefore show ourselves worthy. Let us avoid becoming pale copies, fake imitations, counterfeit Knights.

Let us not be satisfied with mediocrity. Neither should we confuse our roles by slipping into ‘ambiguous identities.’ Even if we organise cultural manifestations, and we appreciate Philippine culture and history, we are not a cultural association. And we should distinguish ourselves from them. There are hundreds of thousands of these associations, in the Philippines and in France. Nor are we a humanitarian association, even if we have the moral obligation to participate actively to improve the situation of those hit by disaster or catastrophe. We have an ideal to hand down, and it is not just any kind of ideal.

Finally, I shall want to thank for the bottom of my heart, the persons who are dear to my heart, some are here present, the others have only visited France, others are far off.

Sir Virgilio Esguerra, KGCR, former Supreme Commander, now Member of the Council of Elders and recently bestowed the Pro Patria award. He agreed to write the foreword of my book on José Rizal in French and thus he has been a strong pillar and defence of our ideals.

Sir Pablo Trillana III, KGCR, our present Supreme Commander, who through this conferral shows his trust in me. And he agreed also to write the foreword of my book on José Rizal in its English version.

Sir Choy Arnaldo, KGOR, Supreme Archivist, but also co-founder member of the Dimasalang île de France Chapter and former Deputy Area Commander of France. He is my very close friend. I discovered a man profoundly kind, thoughtful, generous, helpful and with a great culture. Thanks to you, Choy, for your friendship.

I cannot fail to bring to mind those whom I call the 3 Belgian musketeers, but as you know, the 3 musketeers of Alexandre Dumas, the writer, were actually 4 :

Sir Lino Paras, KGOR, Council of Advisers Europe and former Regional Commander

All four are my friends. They took the defence of Dimasalang île de France Chapter each time we were in need. I discovered in them good and generous men and also a true brotherhood.

Doctor Esteban Magannon, cultural Anthropologist, our Filipino—oh excuse me, he is not Filipino, for historically, a Filipino is a Spaniard born in the Philippines, he is our Kalinga Professor in the French University of INALCO. He is my very close friend for almost 20 years and I include his wife, Boots. He was my mentor in cultural anthropology and in history on the Philippine studies. His thirst to pass on his knowledge is big and hundreds of students are indebted him. Thanks, Esteban, for all that you gave me.

Doctor Pierre Le Roux, cultural Anthropologist. Now that makes almost 20 years that we are friends. We have the same conceptions and the same thoughts on the breadth and height of things. It is what moved us closer.

Denis Guillo, called Druid Lanon, he is my friend for more than 20 years and my training officer in the Druidic Religion which is the religion of our Celtic Ancestors.

Sir Leo Mojica, KCR, co-founder and member of the Dimasalang île de France Chapter. He too became my friend. Because of the injustice inflicted upon him, in the spirit of brotherhood of our Order which José Rizal passed on to us, several Brother Knights took his defence.

Sir Catalino Oabel, KCR, also co-founder and member of the Dimasalang île de France Chapter. He also became my friend. His sense of righteousness and kindness made him also take the defence of our Brother Leo. And lot of the others but the list would be too long.

I end the thanks with my family. My Filipina wife Leilani. She gave me her love and 2 beautiful children: my daughter Anna Claire and my son Guillaume. There are also my 2 sons of my first nuptial: Jean-Marie and Frédéric and my granddaughter Eloïse.

Thanks to the members of Supreme Council for their trust. Maraming salamat pô sa inyong lahat sa inyong pagtulong sa akin.

The KOR problem is VERY SIMPLE, twisted by lawyers to make it appear Lazir is the wrongdoer (for a transgression against the KOR manual?), in order to DEFLECT from the obviously VERY WRONG, HEAVIER violation of a Philippine Law, Republic Act 646!

Lazir talks STRAIGHT, provides culprits' names, calls a spade a spade, is very TRANSPARENT!

That is Rizalian, that is the TRUTH, that is LOGICAL, CREDIBLE, SINCERE and NOBLE! In short, Lazir has backbone and integrity!

Quiambao & Esguerra ignored valid questions, promoted the fakes, used/abused the KOR and the name of the national hero, charged Lazir with hurling unfounded "malicious accusations" which when Lazir documented, became called "HATE" mails!

That is un-Rizalian, that is TWISTING facts to fit the FALLACY/EMPTINESS of their arguments, that is ILLOGICAL, NOT CREDIBLE, INSINCERE and IGNOBLE! In short, they are "boneless" and have no INTEGRITY!

One interesting memo that qualifies to be called HATE MAIL (purportedly) came from a Sir Vidal, Manila, castigating Lazir! Lazir was surprised when he opened it! Esguerra's UNDELETED Signature Block was part of the memo, at the bottom of the page!

And Lazir is accused of writing HATE MAILS???

Lazir is happy he's getting enough ENCOURAGEment from brave Knights who are not afraid to be EXPELLED for fighting for Rizalism and Dr Jose Rizal's noble Legacy..., the very PURPOSE of KOR's existence!

Obviously, Quiambao & Esguerra would rather send their fighting dogs, than even face Lazir in an open debate! Obviously again, lawyer Quiambao (the corrupt!) and the lying Supremo (Lazir documented his lying in his letter he titled, "How to be un-Rizalian when Esguerra claimed he and the Supreme Council are for 'Non-Racism', yet Esguerra exalted proven racist Alcoba to KGOR, and Esguerra confirmed proven racist Paras to Regional Commander!) have not only lost their CREDIBILITY, but have no valid arguments left to even discuss, argue, talk to, Lazir!

Should Lazir meet just the above duo, wherever, TRANSPARENCY is lost/gone, because they won't agree with Lazir taking 2 independent-minded persons of his trust and confidence, as his witnesses!

Sir Delfin Lumberio should present his arguments with a minimum of 1,500 words, so Lazir could understand his position, if he has one.

Recommend Sir Zane also answer the 4 simply-stated questions submitted by Sir Dennis!

These exchanges of the past few days PROVE BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT that IHQ has nothing good in mind about KOR, Rizalism, Dr Jose Rizal! Otherwise, Quiambao, Esguerra and/or Samuela would have already spoken! (Lazir has to provide these 3 names, lest Samuela again accuse Lazir of accusing the ENTIRE Supreme Council, which he does not!)

English is simple, until lawyers started providing us with many examples that orbitate around conference tables with fuzzistic beauty and joyful idiotoxicity! ...

Go Lazir, keep FIGHTING and smite the evil, the corrupt, the liar, in the KOR!

Dear Sir Zane,

I normally do not circulate my letters round the globe, but as you are doing just this and as your mail concerning Rizal Victoria/Lazir, (who was a very active and committed member of our Chapter and a better and more committed Rizalist than many of those who hold high positions and ranks in our Order and who criticize him), indirectly concerns me, too, I have to reply to you in the same way.

You are writing that the IHQ “distributed a copy of all documents” concerning the expulsion of Sir Rizal Victoria from our Order.

Sir Zane, this is absolutely wrong!

Our Chapter´s “Appeal” to revise the sentence of the Supreme Council against Rizal Victoria has not been published by the IHQ.

I wonder why this is so.

Obviously only incriminating evidence is published, but no exonerating evidence in favour of Rizal Victoria. And the Supreme Council´s reply to our appeal did not deal with our (good) arguments at all, but only gave a formal justification.

But this is not the first time that the IHQ is acting this way:

When I wrote two letters to our Supreme Commander and the Supreme Council last year, Sir Esguerra´s had his answer to my letters published worldwide by the IHQ, but not my letters. Thus nobody who read Sir Esguerra´s letter could know about what Sir Esguerra was actually replying to.

Again my question: Why is this so?

Do you think this alright and in José Rizal´s spirit?

It seems to me that it is the IHQ´s policy that the other Knights should only receive the IHQ´s biased view in order to prevent a critical analysis of the whole matter. This is not gentlemanly and has nothing to do with fair play nor with José Rizal.

All this makes it very hard to be “supportive to the Order”, at least to the Order in its present moral state.

Sir Zane, here in Europe there is a clique of selfish and incompetent people who are only greedy for attention and career. They are building a network of nepotism, corruption, intrigues, sycophancy and lies and are thus causing so much moral damage to the Order´s “reputation and integrity”.

But the worst of all is that this is not stopped by our Superiors. On the contrary, such a behaviour is “tolerated” and those people are rewarded with higher positions and ranks. The 4th European Assembly in Prague last week showed and proved this disastrous situation in a shocking way.

Sir Zane, if you knew all the details and backgrounds of the situation here in Europe and Manila, you could perhaps understand the criticism of some people and would probably revise your opinion about certain people.

All those disastrous things cause Lazir to write his fierce attacks against the people who are responsible for all this. More and more people are taking Lazir´s side, even if they would never write in his way themselves. I know a number of good Rizalists and even Chapter Commanders who are thinking of giving up their commitment in the KOR..

It is not so much only Lazir, but rather many others, even in high ranks in our Order, who, with their behaviour, “pull the Order down”.

But obviously criticism is not well liked in our Order, although this is completely un-Rizalian: José Rizal himself all his life criticized negative things and wanted them to be changed to the better for the good of his country and its people. But José Rizal and his ideas seem to play a decreasing role in the Philippines and even in our Order. And there are many things to be changed. The KOR has become less José Rizal, but more organization, pomp and formal things lately.

Unfortunately reforms and change are not “in” in our Order these days.

I hope I have shown you that there is not only one truth, namely the one from Manila. If you want to get more details and proof, just let me know, I can easily provide them.

For your more comprehensive information I am also attaching our “Appeal”* in the Rizal Victoria Case, so that you really have got “all documents”.

Dear Sir Zane Thirwall,

Just like your new Knights, I myself am confused not because of what Sir Lazir writes but of the inability or refusal of the Supreme Council to answer questions being asked by many confused Knights.

What you ask of Sir Lazir indeed has a noble objective.

I applaud you when you say that you will support Sir Lazir in his quest for answers to the questions that many other Knights had requested. Then support him by openly asking the Supreme Council the same questions. Let them know that you are as confused as your new Knights of the inability of our leaders to clear these issues confronting them. Let the Supreme Council know what damage their silence is doing.

Mr. Lazir, among many other noble and distinguished knights whom some had already resigned because of disgust, had repeatedly requested for clarification on the issues that they want resolved. Please remind yourself of the whole story of which you know very well.

The Supreme council alleged that all documents sent to headquarters to prove Sir Lazir's allegations had been lost. Many knights had forwarded for the second and third time the same documents long time ago. Why is there no investigation, or any indication thereof?

Why is it so difficult for the Supreme commander to answer questions like the following?
1. The alleged missing donations of Sir Mushake - was there or was there none?
2. The reasons for the promotions of some alleged undeserving KGORs to serve as examples for the new knights?
3. The result of the alleged investigation of the Supreme Council of the accusations against Paras as a plagiarist, of Alcoba as a racist, et al? This investigation as you recall was started by Sir Davide who unfortunately had to leave to assume other duties outside the Order. Why was it not continued?

I suggest that you explain to your new Knights and all that ask you the reason why Sir Lazir is sending his emails. Then perhaps they in turn can ask for clarification from the Supreme Council.

It is not Sir Lazir who is making this whole affair sordid and ridiculous, but rather the inability of the Supreme Council to clear the doubts that I assume are now in so many upright Knights.

Sir Thriwall, if there is nothing to hide, why can they not confront Sir Lazir with the answers to refute his allegations?

If they are not hiding anything, then they should tell every honorable Knight everything, as the Hawaii Chapter commander Sir Raymund Liongson of Hawaii had similarly asked.

The Supreme Council once and for all should reply to each of Sir Lazir's questions.

Only then will this sorry affair end.

Dear Brod Lazir,

The problem in the Philippines these days is a sad situation for all, we can just pray for better times since so many are suffering.

My letter does not require a reply, but understanding.

The Order went through bad and hard days when we had the IHQ division, when Sir Lina took over there was protests about his taking the post, yet I saw no understanding from many Brother Knights of how he was working to change the Order for the better. After he ammended the CBL and it was done as best as posisble and was legal, few appreciated in public due to not knowing facts and did not want to comment, but many understood it was for the best.

It is my request that you please iron out your situation with OKOR IHQ then speak. these emails are hurting this Order more than its doing good.

I have new Knights here that are thinking they joined a bad group because of the emails from you. We have a large children's contest within two months here and more than 11 schools from Gulf schools will attend, our new Knights are needed but with such emails they are confused.

Once you have sat with Sir Ver and the Supreme council, let us all hear of the outcome. Since we have a new start with Sir Ver and the current Supreme Council lets give them a chance.

In the interim period kindly address our Supreme Commander as Sir and not by the family name. In England we see this as rude and not polite, if you address me as Thirlwall I will not respond.

You are an very well educated person, put to use this and lets get back on track, you can offer a great deal to all if a bit of understanding is seen.

If you can sort of mend things with the Supreme Council, I am ready to help and support you in pleading with Manila to consider your situation. You have been expelled and its a serious action. You can offer a lot but the emails are too much, honestly they are too much....

OKOR started fresh with Sir Ver and this council, we need to help and support as well.

What? Plagiarist Felino Wy Paras for a LINGKAPIL Award 2008? Susme! The SHAME of Europe to be honored by get the country's recognition???

When you click open this attachment, you will see Philippine newspaper e-mail addresses where we can voice out our disgust/dismay that the Phil Embassy, Brussels (did they really?) (and the Phil DFA plus Phil government thru Commission on Filipinos Overseas?) would ever consider PLAGIARIST Felino Wy Paras [Paras claimed Andres Bonifacio's translation of 'Mi Ultimo Adios' (Huling Paalam) as his own work! - evidence with our Belgian KOR friends] as LINGKAPIL (Lingkod sa Kapwa Pilipino) awardee!

In addition, Felino Wy Paras is the same person who grabbed the honors claiming to have "donated" P2M+ worth of goods that the chapter of Sir Francois Ooms, chapter officials, their spouses and members worked hard to raise for the needy in the Philippines (evidence with our Belgian KOR friends)!

Our brave soul of a fighter and Knight, Sir Ramon Mayuga, Essen, Germany, regularly writes to RP newspapers... ! He provides his insights almost on a daily basis! Recommend highly he also write about this same criminal -- Plagiarism is CRIMINAL -- act of Felino Wy Paras, so others may know!

How could the Phil Embassy, Brussels easily fall for such a cheap trick? Where did the recommendation come from? Who wrote/signed the recommendation? Who are the listed references (King & Queen of Belgium? Funny? Not at all, because Felino Wy Paras indeed mentions the two in his list of personal References in his official Bio-Data! And lots more names in there, including names of Phil Ambassadors past!)?

[Lazir also shook the hands of Bundespraesident Richard von Weizaecker and First Lady Marianne von Weizaecker. But he would never add their names on his Bio!]

If he is, he must be kicked-out of his honorary post immediately, without delay, because he is identified as a Paras backer through and through!), Boy Alcoba, Nollas and the alleged corrupt Filipino priest by the name of Apollo de Guzman in Belgium behind this Paras caper, AGAIN???

ON CHITO COLLANTES

This letter refers to your famous brother knight who is subject of being talked about as the real regional Commander of Canada since 2006.

Is this the same, CHITO M. COLLANTES of Toronto, Canada, who is known to be an IMPERTINENT ARROGANT? to the extent of BULLYING OTHERS? FORGING THE SIGNATURE OF HIS UNCLE? - definately and clearly showing disgusting behaviour and disrespect to others.

As far as it is known, on the basis of the informations that have been receieved in Canada, it's sad to sy that CHITO M. COLLANTES's credibility is quite low aside from being questionable. For a fact, he used to have two (2) pending cases against him: one (1) "libel suit" and another for "confederacy to defame". These were filed against him by the Board of Directors of the 'Filipino Centre Toronto' headed by Board Chairman Victoria Santiago and President Rosalinda Javier.

A certain Mr. Adolfo Tigley also said that Mr. CHITO M. COLLANTES allegedly absconded the funds of an association in Calgary, Alberta where he once served as treasurer. A catholic priest in Toronto likewise complained allegedly about unsavory behaviour the way CHITO M. COLLANTES conduct his business.

There are still other unpleasant complaints about CHITO which would downgrade his credibility in Canada in such a way that would put into question his promotion as a Knight Grand Officer of Rizal (KGOR) of aside from putting shame to the honorable organization - Order of the Knights of Rizal. Well, this is similar to the case of Sir Para, KGOR whose mentor/idol is Sir Quiambao, KGCR

In the Philippines, as the records clearly show, there are two (2) pending criminal cases: 1) Criminal Case No. 7112 - RTC 29, La Union, for ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT; 2) Criminal Case No. 14260-04 RTC, Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, for ILLEGAL RECRUITMENT and still pending before NBI Manila two (2) other criminal cases: for Estafa and Large Scale Recruitment.

It's not a delight in putting someone in the bad light but the records are clear and by reason thereof there people who are very unmfortable and now regretted having been associated with CHITO.

Addendum:

Chito also recently added the title “Dr” to his name. How he got the title – he has not been able to explain (I wrote him and asked how he got his title). He replied by threatening to bring to court those who are accusing him of getting/buying his title surreptitiously. Actually he just avoided giving me a straight answer.

BTW - Was Sir Manny Bade (Scarborough Knight in Toronto), who loves to recite or sing, given the chance to recite the “Last Farewell?” He was invited by Collantes to deliver the poem in Prague. Funny but the same Manny was kick out, literally, at the last regional Assembly in Canada by Collantes himself. Manny wrote that Chito apologized for kicking him out. Ewan ko, if I was treated like that I would not even spend a ticket for Europe just to recite “on Chito’s behalf.”

What is encouraging are signs of involvement by previously-silent-knights, now questioning IHQ actions or inactions. I hope more come out now. In some ways I regret having resigned – it is probably more effective to fight corruption inside the organization. How is the project (initiated by Pleckebaum?) on Ethics going along?

Thanks so much for once more forwarding this "NOTICE OF DECISION" dated 07 Jan 09 (shown below)!

It gives Lazir a chance to highlight the writer's (Samuel S. Samuela's) grave mistakes!

Recommend he be barred from law practice for reasons, IGNORANCE OF THE LAW! Lazir is no lawyer while Samuela supposedly is. But surely somewhere, there is a provision in jurisprudence that provides INVESTIGATE, PROSECUTE the evildoers, not the reporter of the wrong done!

Here's WHY Samuel Samuela can be called both Ignorant and Stupid:

1. The names "Samuela S. Samuela" and "Samuel S. Samuela" may appear identical/the same. But by Lazir adding just one letter "a" to the former, it becomes feminine! The latter stays masculine! Therefore, they are NOT the same!

IHQ must have A-L-L the completed KOR membership application forms, filed/archived. Samuela goes to the IHQ. If Samuela will just do his job correctly, he will see there's no such name "MORENO (RIZAL) VICTORIA"! If he CAN find a member with the name "MORENO (RIZAL) VICTORIA", should Lazir give him Euro 5,000? If Samuela CANNOT find such a name, that person does not exist! If that person does not exist, it is stupid of Samuela (or anyone) to insist he is referring to one and the same person!

2. Maureen Fernandez is supposedly long gone! Why is her name still being (ab)used at IHQ? To use the name of an innocent, non-participant, non-employee of IHQ, is VIOLATION of that person's privacy! If Samuela were a good lawyer, he should KNOW this! If Samuela were non-partisan, he should already investigate if not put a STOP to the (ab)use of an innocent person's name! Whoever is forwarding IHQ e-mails, (mis-)using the name "Maureen Fernandez", should STOP it, or he/she earns the description "STUPID" as well!

3. Each time Laon Laan forwards comments to IHQ, all IHQ could put forward is an attachment! If Samuela were clever, he would already complain to IHQ or stop IHQ from repeatedly using the same attachments he signed! Or can't he think that repeating an act 3-5x won't bring new arguments nor validate fallacies? Really stupid of Samuela if he allows his name bannered once more, in reply to Laon Laan!

4. Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein exposed
"Watergate" that forced the downfall of Richard Nixon! No individual with just a little bit of intelligence would blame Woodward & Bernstein for "bringing shame" to or "inimical acts" against the Office of the President of the United States of America! Anyone who blames Woodward & Bernstein would/could be labelled stupid!

Lazir questioned/exposed/wrote about the crooked machinations of Quiambao (one ex.: he reportedly promoted Paras to KGOR April 2001, Florida for nothing Rizalian or beneficial to KOR or to country, a farce!) and Esguerra (one ex.: in his incompetence, he confirmed the wrongful Paras appointment to Regional Commander, Europe, w/o any valid reason to do so!) plus the corrupt practices of their boys in the KOR; Paras in Europe and Collantes in Canada. Instead of investigating the evildoers, Samuela persecutes the reporter/journalist and pushed for his expulsion! For a lawyer, is this not plain and simple STUPIDITY? Samuela says the KOR is an illustrious organization. Did he also forgot that good/illustrious Knights are discerning enough to see what is valid, logical, correct and what is not?

5. While lawyer Samuela concluded that Moreno "committed misconduct and/or misbehavior affecting the dignity, integrity, honor and/or reputation of the Knights of Rizal", the same Samuela seems to be convinced Quiambao, Esguerra, Paras, et al (to name a few), did not, although records show that direct descendants of Dr Jose Rizal's friends, Pastor Ullmer and Ferdinand Blumentritt, RESIGNED IN DISGUST -- not because of Lazir, but because of the SHAMEFUL acts of Quiambao, Esguerra, Paras, et al! Is this not sufficient proof that Samuela is not only practicing stupidity but also hypocrisy?

6. Quiambao, Esguerra, Paras, Plueckebaum, Guansing, et al practically supported each other propagate un- Rizalian/unethical activities just by mere giving or receiving UNDESERVED KGOR titles/ranks! Yet, lawyer Samuela concludes these individuals' single/conspirative actions didn't NEGATIVELY affect "the dignity, integrity, honor and/or reputation of the Knights of Rizal"? (Lazir's wish is for Samuela to show documents/memoranda SIGNED by Samuela against Lazir to his family and children, so they can tell him what stupidity means!)

7. Lazir's justifiable motive for his various e-mails is to try to weed out corruption/corrupt practices in the KOR! That definitely, is Rizalian! If Samuel S. Samuela dosen't find that "justifiable" a motive, is Samuela a fake Rizalist or one simply pretending to be, or both?

8. Anent thereto, if the amended KOR by-Laws are deemed violated by Moreno, per Samuela's findings/conclusions, how come the same Samuela, finds NOTHING wrong with what Quiambao, Esguerra, (et al) did, for violating RA 646? Samuela is not even ASHAMED to banner his signature under the name of The Great Malayan, categorizing his act/s "non-partisan", yet showing PARTIALITY, by not investigating the friends of his friends! Can't lawyer Samuela see where he is leading himself into? If non-lawyer Lazir knows, the lawyer Samuela should know better!

Below are pertinent provisions of Republic Act 646 which lawyer Samuel S. Samuela cannot simply look away from, if he wants readers to believe he is an honest purveyor of (KOR) Justice and/or is KOR's Chief Investigator/Prosecutor, with integrity! By avoidance, not only will Samuela indeed look stupid, but dumb and inutile as well -- Sherlock Holmes, the Lame?

VIOLATIONs of Sec 7, RA 646, applies squarely

- upon Rogelio Quiambao, KGCR [for excluding/hiding the missing P355,000? -- approx. Euro 5,000 x today's rate of P71 -- from the KOR Books of Accounts, which was confirmed donated by Mushake to KOR sometime RY 1999/2000 when said Rogelio Quiambao was KOR Supreme Commander!];

- upon Virgilio Esguerra, KGCR [for cover-up as Supreme Commander by not ordering an investigation of funds' whereabouts, which is his job if he were competent!];

- upon Samuel S. Samuela, KGOR [for aiding the cover-up, looking away & keeping silent about these missing funds, while vigorously persecuting MUCH LESSER charges (against Sir Jun Zerrudo & Lazir!)].

SECTION 7. Any donation or contribution which from time to time may be made to the corporation by the Government or any of its subdivisions, branches, offices, agencies, or instrumentalities, or by any other person or entity shall be expended by the Supreme Council solely to promote the purposes for which the corporation is organized.

VIOLATIONs of Sec 8, RA 646, applies squarely

- upon Rogelio Quiambao, KGCR [for shamelessly NOT resigning his current position as/for falsely and fraudulently usurping a seat as member of the Council of Elders, even as he still keeps his silence about the missing P355,000 which never got into the KOR Books of Accounts...therefore not spent ICW Sec 7, RA 646!; or for falsely and fraudulently making himself organizer and/or representative, a member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal, last February 2009 during the Manila Assembly; etc.!];

- upon Virgilio Esguerra, KGCR [for falsely and fraudulently making himself its Chief Representative carrying the title of Supreme Commander in various 2007, 2008, 2009 memoranda, as member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal, since the time the missing P355,000 came to his attention as MISSING in the KOR Books of Accounts, thereby effectively covering up this transaction; then for falsely and fraudulently accepting the job of Supreme Commander after last May 2008 KOR elections; then for falsely and fraudulently acting as Supreme Commander last February 2009 during the Manila Assembly; etc.!];

- upon Samuel S. Samuela, KGOR [for likewise falsely and fraudulently calling himself as, or representing himself to be, a member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal, when he signed the below Memo using the KOR letterhead, with date 07 January 2009 and dateline Manila, Philippines, December 14, 2008; etc. ].

SECTION 8. From and after the passage of this Act, it shall be unlawful for any person to falsely and fraudulently call himself as, or represent himself to be, a member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal; and any person who violates any of the provisions of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment of not to exceed six months or a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos, or both, in the discretion of the court.

9. While Samuela needs the Supreme Council to impose the sanction of terminating Moreno's membership, Lazir only has to prove Samuela's evil deed of PARTIALITY in the conduct of his investigations to show discerning readers that he, Samuel Samuela, upon acts of his own, terminated himself from the roster of the Knights of Rizal, pursuant to the provisions not only of Article IV, Section 8 (a) of the 2006 Amended by-Laws, but also per Sec 4, 7 and 8 of Ra 646, thereby stripping himself the rights and privileges of membership in the (once!) prestigious Order of the Knights of Rizal. (See above Numbers 1-9.).

Samuela should, even as disbarment proceedings initiated by someone in the Philippines are pushed through, quit the KOR now, for he so miserably failed the various Rizalian and ethical tests, making him more a champion Rizalian pretender, than a true Rizalist. His English is good, so Lazir assumes Samuela knows Lazir is correct!

Quiambao and Esguerra likewise should, before history judges them so harshly, do the honorable thing and resign from their KOR positions/functions without delay, giving way to either Sir Pablo Trillana III and/or Sir Reghis Romero to take over the reigns of this illustrious KOR, blazing the path for greater Glory and enabling the return of eloquent names Sir Dr Fritz Hack-Ullmer as well as Sir Ernest(o) Blumentritt to the KOR fold.

Notice is hereby given of the Supreme Council Decision issued dated December 14, 2008, finding MORENO (RIZAL) VICTORIA to have committed misconduct and/or misbehavior affecting the dignity, integrity, honor and/or reputation of the Knights of Rizal in maliciously imputing in writing (e-mail messages) alleged vices or defects attributed to the Knights of Rizal without justifiable motive.

THE LITOMERICE INCIDENT

The real story of the inauguration of the Blumentritt plaque in Litomerice, 2001

Lino Paras wrote:

“Last week the Supreme Council, Manila, send me to Litomerice, Czech Republic to attend the unveiling of the bust of Professor Ferdinand Blumentritt (friend of Dr. Jose Rizal.)”

I am very well aware about the Litomerice event in 2001. I lived in Belgium at that time. My good friend, Dr. Sir Fritz Hack-Ullmer, great-grandson of Pastor Ullmer who donated the famous Ullmer collection to the Philippines in 1961, informed me personally that he was making arrangements for the inauguration of a plaque in honor of Ferdinand Blumentritt in Litomerice.

The invitation to the inauguration of the Ferdinand Blumentritt Plaque originally came from the Lord Mayor of Litomerice. He asked me if a delegation from Belgium would attend this significant event. As Chapter Commander of the El Filibusterismo Chapter then, I asked some knights from Belgium if they were interested to attend for which the response was positive. Sir Francois Ooms and I drove our car and we picked up Lino Paras from his house at rue de Hippodrome in Brussels. Sir Rudy Nollas, Rev. Apollo, Sir PrOs Slachmuylders and my wife also joined us.

After a nine hour’s trip, we finally reached Leitmeritz and met with the other knights who already arrived from Germany such as: Dr. Sir Fritz Hack, Sir and Mrs. Manfred Holtzmann (ex-mayor of Wilhelmsfeld) AND… Sir Ernsto Blumentritt, (then 90 years old), the only living grandson of Ferdinand Blumentritt.

To think that Lino was sent “officially” by Manila to go to Leitmeritz? Indeed, it’s too easy to say! For without the invitation from the Lord Mayor of Litomerice and me who then extended it to him, he would have had never known of the event and would not even have the opportunity to be there for the special occasion.

If it was true that Lino were sent officially by the HQ, he would have been the one who should have invited us and not the other way around, as it happened isn’t it?

At that time, Lino never told nor mentioned to anybody in the group that he was officially sent by the HQ because he would be only ‘too proud’ to say so in order not to show or reveal any trace of his personal ambition for self-aggrandizement.

What did happen exactly in Leitmeritz? The greetings at the monument were given by the Mayor of Litomerice, Mr. Landa, Sir Ernesto Blumentritt, Libor Pislak, the artist who made the plaque, and Dr. Sir Fritz Hack Ullmer, the main organizer. From the Blumentritt park the party went to the Rizal bust at the rear of the Hotel Salva Guarda.

The program for the speeches had already been planned. All of a sudden, Lino Paras stepped forward and delivered his unscheduled and uncalled for speech, just to make himself so important as Rizal’s countryman. Even better, a team of radio reporters was present and interviewed him. For so obvious a reason as to his very limited knowledge on Rizal's life that he sent them expediently to me to do the explanations about the friendship between Rizal and Blumentritt.

While I was being interviewed Lino seized the opportunity to have Sir Rudy Nollas take his picture while he was greeting H.E. (Ms.) Carmelita R. Salas, Philippine Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Mr. Landa, Mayor of Leitmeritz, and Sir Ernesto Blumentritt. Is this what he had in mind which would later present for his promotion in the KOR as his tangible proof that he had done a ‘research’ in Leitmeritz???

The same happened in Wilhelmsfeld when he was again a passenger in my car. We went the Rizal statue in Wilhelmsfeld and have some pictures. An official report was sent to IHQ Manila by Lino in which he wrote that he performed a “Rizalian research” in Heidelberg (Hm!).

This report can be acknowledged and confirmed by Sir Francois Ooms, Sir PrOs Slachmuylders, Sir Dr. Fritz Hack and Sir Manfred Holtzmann.

P.S. A couple of years ago Lino Paras and his team went again to Leitmeritz. Alcoba wrote that he was very thrilled that have slept in the same room where Rizal did during his stay there.

What a pity for them! As a matter of fact, Rizal did NOT stay in the building that is now the Hotel Salva Guarda. Indeed, there is a Rizal room in this hotel where I also stayed several times, but this was only named in his honor, only to remember his memory! Rizal stayed in another hotel with Maximo Viola in Leitmeritz!

This just reminds me of someone in Canada region who shows up in some event un-invited and will grab any upportunity to get a hold of the microphone. I WONDER WHO THAT IS.......... SOMEHOW HE GOT HIS COUNTERPART IN EUROPE. THIS KIND OF PEOPLE ARE THE ONES BEING PROMOTED TO KGOR.

No wonder I am still KCR. Lazir accuses Quiambao, Esguerra, and Samuela of violations against Sections 4, 7, and 8 of Republic Act No. 646 (see the KOR Charter below please)!

Here are five compelling reasons:

1. For spearheading/investigating Sir Jun Zerrudo and Lazir based on flimsy grounds, merely upon say-so "from the top", Samuel Samuela tainted his professional name as a lawyer; so did Virgilio Esguerra and his profession, for letting the investigation proceed..., even going against the legal maxim: "Innocent until proven guilty!" by writing a conclusive but SHAMEFUL memo that couldn't hide IHQ duplicity, abuse of power, arrogance, vindictiveness!

Instead of acting appropriately to be part of the solution, Samuel Samuela chose to side with the wrongdoers: corrupt Quiambao and incompetent Esguerra, hurting himself and his own name in the process! If Samuela were righteous, he would have quickly DISTANCED himself from what Esguerra tasked him to do! He did not! Is that Rizalian? Nope! That is contrary to Good Moral Character!

2. For exalting Undeserving persons to KGOR: Paras, Guansing, Plueckebaum, Nollas, Alcoba, Collantes and even FAKEs to KGOR: proven racists Paras and Alcoba!

Quiambao exalted to KGOR fake Knight Felino Paras, April 2001 in Florida and Undeserving Collantes in Canada! Is that alright what Quiambao did? Is it Rizalian? Does it promote Rizalism? Nope! What Quiambao did is/was contrary to Good Moral Character!

Esguerra exalted Undeserving Tony Guansing (Esguerra appointee as Europe regional commander), Undeserving Rudy Nollas (Esguerra appointee as Belgium area commander is Preface author of a FAKE book titled, "Born to be a Hero"!), proven racist and writer of vulgar/indecent words Cesar Alcoba in Paris July 2007; then Undeserving Peter Pueckebaum in February 2009, Manila, all based on invalid/non-existent grounds, questionable in nature and not in conformity with the KOR Manual and the KOR Charter! Rizalism has nothing to do with these exaltations, not a tiny bit! Did Esguerra let it pass, from someone's "say-so" above him? Also, why not take those Undeserving promotions back, now that he is informed they were not DESERVED? Again, his incompetence?

Didn't Esguerra write he doesn't tolerate vulgar/indecent words in the KOR 12 April 2007? He lied, yes! Is that Rizalism? Nope! What Esguerra wrote and did are/were contrary to Good Moral Character!

3. For hiding from the entire KOR Membership the true story about the approx. Euro 5,000 confirmed donated by Mushake sometime 1999/2000 to the KOR. Supreme Commander then was Quiambao! It is Esguerra's duty as incumbent "leader" to now investigate this for purposes of transparency in KOR financial affairs! Can Esguerra investigate Quiambao?

Since the KOR corporation was not organized solely to "collect" donations, but spend them SOLELY to promote the purposes for which the corporation is organized, Quiambao and Esguerra must explain why the approx. Euro 5,000 is NOT in the KOR Books of Accounts, not on KOR records, from 1999/2000 up to Mushake's death early this year 2009! Where is this amount of approx. P340,000.00? Should Quiambao and Esguerra be silent about it? Nope! Quiambao's and Esguerra's silence on this MISSING approx. P340,000.00 is contrary to Good Moral Character!

4. For the persecution and expulsion of honorable Knight Sir Jun Zerrudo from the KOR, based on unfounded, malicious accusations that brought more SHAME upon the entire KOR organization!

Esguerra as incumbent "supreme commander" is "in-charge of the KOR"! Samuel Samuela was tasked to be the "hatchet man"! Did Esguerra and Samuela promote Rizalism by persecuting innocent and honorable Sir Jun Zerrudo and Lazir, but leaving wrongdoers like Quiambao, Esguerra, Paras, Alcoba, etc. out of their investigation, prosecution and expulsion process? Nope! By disciplining the undeserving, Esguerra and Samuela exceeded their legal bounds and in fact, abused their authority beyond the limit! Rizalism is justice and fairness! Ergo, Esguerra's and Samuela's acts in these abusive, one-sided investigations are contrary to Good Moral Character!

5. For falsely and fraudulently calling themselves, or representing themselves to be members of, agents for, the Knights of Rizal organization, after compromising their Good Moral Character themselves in so shameless ways as enumerated above!

Are Quiambao, Esguerra, Samuela FAKE Knights? Lazir, basing his opinion upon RA 646, says yes! Ergo, Quiambao and Esguerra would be violative of Sec 8, RA 646 should any of them EVER attempt to represent the KOR in September 2009, Prague, Czech Republic.

Opinions of other KOR Ladies and Knights, patriotic Filipinos, are WELCOME!

Right now, Deputy Supreme Commander Sir Pablo Trillana III, might be the only legitimate Representative to represent the KOR in the September International Assembly, Prague, Czech Republic!

Will Sir Noubikko and his Prague KOR Chapter stand up to their Rizalian duty to uphold RA 646 by disinviting/disowning Quiambao and Esguerra and putting the name of Sir Pablo Trillana III in their stead? Or will RA 646 be ignored/sidelined, quid-pro-quo, perhaps in exchange for someone's KGOR promotion?

The Dirty Game plan: Find someone who will do the work, but steal the credit from that person, while dangling a sash/medal/title/position, if you can't wiggle out of it! KCR or KGOR will do?

Felino Paras, The SHAME OF EUROPE, masterfully did this in Paris, France July 2007! He found someone to do most of the work organizing the Paris International Assembly, then got his BENELUX boys promoted to KGOR! That's where some (valid!) complaints about KOR/Esguerra awarding the wrong persons, UNDESERVING is the word, came from! Imagine, Paris organized the International Assembly and those outside France got the KGORs!???

Esguerra claims it is the Supreme Council deciding as a body about KGOR promotions!

When Lazir asked to see the Supreme Council deliberations that gave KGOR ranks to Guansing, Plueckebaum, Nollas, Alcoba, Esguerra clammed up and became silent! WHY?

This Paras is same person who reportedly "posed" by a box/container, when he had nothing to do with said container donated to the poor in the Philippines! Masterfully did Paras convince IHQ he "coordinated" the donation of some P2.0 Million goods to the Philippines! Until Sir Francois Ooms came forward, gently informing Lazir that he doesn't want any quarrel, but those P2.0 Million were the fruits of the hard work of his El Filibusterismo Chapter, its officers and members in Brussels, nothing to do with Felino Paras! Doesn't this make Paras a FAKE if not a THIEF?

Lazir's observations in view of the forthcoming Prague International Assembly:

Although Paras, Guansing, Nollas and Alcoba are Benelux "KGORs", heavyweights!, these four NEVER ever organized, nor will they organize an International Assembly in Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg! Why? Lazy, incompetent, or both?

AN ACT TO CONVERT THE "ORDEN DE CABALLEROS DE RIZAL" INTO A PUBLIC CORPORATION TO BE KNOWN IN ENGLISH AS "KNIGHTS OF RIZAL" AND; IN SPANISH AS "ORDEN DE CABALLEROS DE RIZAL" AND TO DEFINE ITS PURPOSES AND POWERS.

WHEREAS, a civic organization known as "Orden de Caballeros de Rizal" (Knights of Rizal) was incorporated under the Corporation Law of the Philippines in the year 1916 by patriotic citizens for the following purposes

(a) To develop the most perfect union among the Filipinos in revering the memory of Dr.Jose Rizal;

(b) To promote among the associated knights the spirit of patriotism and Rizalian chivalry;

(c) To study and spread the teaching of Dr. Jose Rizal and keep ever alive his consecrated memory and to make effective his exemplary and exalted principles; and

(d) To organize the annual festivities in honor of Dr. Jose Rizal.

WHEREAS, the Knights of Rizal, if officially recognized and vested with appropiate powers, would be a convenient instrumentality by which the teachings of our national hero may be propagated among our people to the end that they emulate and follow his examples; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to grant legislative Charter to the said Knights of Rizal in order to accord official recognition to it and to enlarge its powers so that it may more fully and more effectively accomplish the laudable purposes for which it was organized: Now, therefore,

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION 1. The present civic organization known as Orden de Caballeros de Rizal is hereby converted into a body corporate and politic with powers hereinafter specified, under the name and style of KNIGHTS OF RIZAL and in Spanish as Orden de Caballeros de Rizal (hereinafter called the corporation). The principal office of the corporation shall be in the city of Manila, Philippines.

SECTION 2. The purposes of this corporation shall be to study the teaching of Dr. Jose Rizal, to inculcate and propagate them in and among all classes of Filipino people, and by words and deeds to exhort our citizenry to emulate and practice the examples and teachings of our national hero; to promote among the associated knights the spirit of patriotism and Rizalian chivalry; to develop a perfect union among the Filipinos in revering the memory of Dr. Jose Rizal; and to organize and hold programs commemorative of Rizalâ€™s nativity and martyrdom.

SECTION 3. The said corporation shall have perpetual succession, with power to sue and to be sued, to hold such real and personal property as shall be necessary for corporate purposes; to solicit and receive public contributions; to receive real and personal property by gift, device, or bequest; to adopt a seal and to alter the same at pleasure; to have offices and conduct its business and affairs in the city of Manila and elsewhere; to make and adopt by-laws, rules and regulations not inconsistent with the laws of the Philippines, and generally to do all such acts and things including the establishment of regulations for the election of associates and successors as may be necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this Act and to promote the purposes of the said corporation. The existing By-Laws of the â€œOrden de Caballeros de Rizalâ€ insofar as they are not inconsistent with this Act shall remain in force as the â€œBy-Laws of the corporation until repealed or amended.

SECTION 4. All persons of legal age and of good moral character and reputation, who are in sympathy with the purposes of the corporation, are eligible for active membership, upon unanimous approval of the Supreme Council en banc of a written application therefore duly endorsed by at least two active members of the corporation.

SECTION 5. The general administration and direction of the affairs of the corporation shall be in the hands of a Supreme Council (Board of Directors) of nine members, which is hereby vested with full powers and authority to act and perform all such functions as the corporation itself may do and perform.

SECTION 6. A group of five or more persons, of legal age residing in any locality outside Manila and who are of good moral character and reputation, may associate themselves and form a chapter of the corporation upon approval of a written petition to the Supreme Council. It shall be the duty of each chapter to promote and carry out the purposes of the corporation in the locality where the chapter is organized.

SECTION 7. Any donation or contribution which from time to time may be made to the corporation by the Government or any of its subdivisions, branches, offices, agencies, or instrumentalities, or by any other person or entity shall be expended by the Supreme Council solely to promote the purposes for which the corporation is organized.

SECTION 8. From and after the passage of this Act, it shall be unlawful for any person to falsely and fraudulently call himself as, or represent himself to be, a member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal; and any person who violates any of the provisions of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment of not to exceed six months or a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos, or both, in the discretion of the court.

SECTION 9. These acts shall take effect upon its approval.

When GREED for power or for medals or for positions/titles are put higher than the Rizalian ideals and the ethical tenets, a Knight's character is compromised! Paras reportedly was a DH (domestic helper) when he was helped by his first wife to come over to Belgium. There's nothing wrong with a clean job and clean way of working for a living, whether as toilet cleaner, houseboy or errand boy!

The lust for POWER and the chance to CONTROL others, reportedly drove Paras to aim very HIGH! Using his service to Quiambao when the latter's son stayed in the Paras household for many months (Quiambao's son is now a Belgian resident, most probably a citizen, but has he "aura" in him to command some respect for a takeover of the KOR region, using his last name!), Paras allegedly CEMENTED his hold to POWER, even the KGOR that he got in April 2001 in Florida?! Notice that Quiambao is very silent on all these matters, from time-to-time batting-in under the guise of someone else, even reportedly using Alcoba's cover once! Tell-tale signs were everywhere, that European reformists were dealing with a LAWYER, not with Alcoba! Suprise, surprise!

Paras' alleged ultimate aim is to take the place and hold the title/position of Mushake! Then he could perhaps rest as the DH who became the highest KOR in the region, KGCR? Will Quiambao and Esguerra sink the KOR deeper in muck, by granting this unholy wish of THE SHAME who has no shame?

Paras' PUSH for KGORs for his boys has a purpose! In KOR elections, KGORs have special votes that specially counts!

Clear as night and day, will it expose the TRUTH that Lazir's expulsion for alleged violation of the KOR Manual has HIGHER priority than looking into the Quiambao/Esguerra/Samuela abuses of RA 646, specifically Sections 4, 7 and 8!

Alright, Plueckebaum being the regional deputy designate was reportedly attending a regional meeting in Brussels once, attended mostly by Pinoys, where the topic, as usual, was nebulous! Being a non-Pinoy, he could have been murdered w/o any hint like Caesar during the Ides of March (Caesar and his killers were all Latin speakers!)? Guansing, Paras' alter ego and replacement, proposed the voting or nomination to make Paras the Mushake replacement. London's Taguiang (he congratulated Esguerra for Lazir's investigation!) and all the other attendees voted "aye", with just Plueckebaum voting against or abstained.

The question now is: Did Plueckebaum vote that way because he wants Mushake's position/title himself, not for Paras?

Guansing had no other choice but to repay Paras for the KGOR title and designation as regional top honcho -- effortlessly! He reportedly calls meetings where Plueckebaum presides, by coming a bit late so he has an excuse that Plueckebaum can proceed with the meeting that Plueckebaum has already begun! Plueckebaum, the ambitious denouncer of Lazir, willingly obliges, because he has his own agenda?

Sir Boy Gempesaw had the chance to get re-elected as Supreme Commander! Yet, he only wanted to sit as Supremo for the immediate Rizalian Year in a TRANSITION capacity! Like Cory, Sir Boy is not that "garapal" for the top post, by hook (Plueckebaum?) or by crook (Paras?) He let the re-election to Supreme Commander pass...

Just observe that KOR would promise REFORMS and amendments to the Contitution & By-Laws, yet won't allow WOMEN to be full-pledged members!

Many of you have read the falsehoods that Sir Cesar Alcoba KGOR, has written in his e.mails to various members myself included.

One of the lies he said was that I did not dine with the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh.

At no time did I say I was at Buckingham Palace. I was at a private lunch with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and her husband His Highness The Duke of Edinburgh. This was arranged for me by the London Borough of Enfield and the Mayor. He said he had info from London which was a pack of lies again.

A quirk from the Duke of Edinburgh when he saw me in full Scottish Highland Dress was, I see they have imported you down to London as well from Scotland. Knowing he is the Duke of Edinburgh which is the capitol of Scotland.

Dear Cesar Alcoba,

I have now withdrawn the title of Sir from your name as everything you are doing is neither Noble, Chivalrous or worthy of being a member of the Knights of Rizal.

You are picking on anyone who is not a Filipino therefore you have become the most Racist person I have known since the demise of many others who thought along the same frame of mind as yours .. Why you are a Racist is beyond me. You come from a country of wonderful people and you are drawing down the good name of Filipinos everywhere by your wickedness and intolerable behaviour and bad language you are resorting to use.

You did not write to me direct. I had to get your letter second hand from Sir Lucien and you don't even have the decency to write direct.

Let me tell you a few home truths with regard to your letter.

1) I have always wanted to settle in the Philippines because my wife and Children live there who are Filipinos.

2) You stated that I only joined for the honour of being a Knight and that I could not be called Sir anywhere else. Well my friend you do not know about me. THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND, QUEEN ELIZABETH AND HER HUSBAND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH INVITED ME TO DINE WITH THEM AT A PRIVATE LUNCHEON.This was for my Charity work in Cancer. Do I use the title Sir when in their Royal presence... No the title Sir is a Filipino one and can only be suitably used in the proper context.This was confirmed by the Foreign Office.

3) You have told me that if I don't obey the byelaws I should resign. Let me tell you Cesar Alcoba KCR that you are addressing a KGOR, a Lifetime Member, Medal of Merit holder who does not get told by anyone to resign especially you.

4) You mention in your pathetic letter that Filipinos are doing the work no one else wanted. If you didn't want to demearn yourself doing something you think lowly, No one forced you to go to any other country. It was entirely your own doing. It is also more money than you would have earned in the Philippines, so kindly do not take that attitude. Most Filipinos are able to support their families, educate their siblings and give their parents a better living by being abroad.

5) I would also point out that you have broken every law in the book. You have disrepected the National Hero by trying to cower behind his name as you insult everyone you can. Dr Rizal was a man who was respected by everyone and was classed as the same as Ghandi, Karl Marx, and many other inspirational men of their time. You are not in the same league. You are not a credit to yourself or your family by taking this kind of stand against everyone who is not Filipino.

6) It is not my job to reply insultingly to you but when you bring Racism so blatantly to accost brother members then I am afraid that there is no respect left anywhere for you. You have gone down the road of the lowest of the low where you cannot find anything else to write. I feel sorry for you because you have turned against the law of the Knights of Rizal.

We do not bring RACE COLOUR OR CREED OR RELIGION into our daily lives but unfortunately you have. This means that you are against the decent people who want the best and you are trying like many others before you to bring them down. All I can say to you, the more insults you throw the stronger the others will get and you will be a solitary figure not knowing which way to turn.

Filipinos are very clever and they can see right through your wickedness. They want to live in peace and harmony. It looks to me as you have made a few of the past evil leaders your idols but let me remind you that all of them have perished at the hands of their own people.

I do not wish to write any more to you as I find that to educate the unbeliever is a job for a much higher Power than I could ever hope to be The bible, Dr Rizal and others have always stated even today that the greatest gift man can have is Love each other and always be a friend to all. What has happened to you?

In other words and honestly speaking you are treated well as a foreigner in my country, the Philippines.

I have read your e-mail with such interest. It is true that RACISM is now considered a crime against humanity as you have said and that is why some other countries and most especially Europe have been condemned by the U.N and Human-rights Tribunals, right.

We the immigrants (specially Filipinos) here in Europe don't get the same treatment as you are now having in the Philippines. Some of us are professionals but because of RACIAL DISCRIMINATION, WE ARE OBLIGED TO TAKE THE MEANEST JOBS THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO US as domestics, drivers (as mentioned by Sir Lucien Spittael in his e-mail) etc. etc. Its is also true that Filipino nurses are welcomed and loved by their patients because of their sincerety in caring for them. May I now ask, why in the first place did you want to become a member of our prestigeous Order of the Knights of Rizal? I'll tell you why. 1) Because being a member of the Order you become noble and called "Sir" in which you can never obtain in your country. 2) Being a member of the Order gives you prestige and honor. 3) Being a member Order gives you access and respect in all aspects. 4) Being a member of the Order gives you knowledge on the Ideals and teachings of our hero Dr. Jose Rizal that makes you a better man. But some people who become members only wanted this for their own advantage. An advantage for their businesses and their own personal hidden agendas.

It is also true that there are a lot of honest and good man in the Order and I salute them and respect them. Our Supreme Council members and Elders, this are the honest, good man, well-educated and respected people in our country and should also be respected by everyone.

If you can not abide and obey the by-laws and the decisions of the Order of the Knights of Rizal, why stay? why don't you just resign and leave us in peace.

And finally, all that we are asking is to be respected, we respect you so give us back this respect. Give us the chance to prove ourselfs. You have done your time, let us do our time in peace. Let us reconcile and be true brothers in the spirit and memory of our great national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. Is this difficult for you to do?

It's NOT the number of years, NOT the length of STAY (QUALITY vs. quantity!), but HOW one served, until RETIREMENT (then passing away...) that determines a person's final community standing. Respect is earned, not imposed nor bought!

After a FAKE was "dumped" on top of me (because I see pictures but NOTHING in terms of Accomplishments for this Region!), I'd like to ask which is more "demeaning and rude" Sir Barry:

1. being called by the last name, which one's parents gifted their child with? or
2. standing there and a FAKE is "dumped" on you as your "commander", take it OR, LEAVE the KOR!?

IT IS SHAMEFUL when the "commander" you get -

1. struts around heavy with sash & trinkets, but can't even FACE and ANSWER valid ACCUSATIONS from rank and file, fair and square! (he can choose any from the many European languages of his preference!)
2. got caught red-handed for denouncing a "Kabayan" to authorities! (Dr Jose Rizal would NEVER do that SHAMEFUL act!, regardless of reason, or motive!)
3. got "exalted" for the WRONG and demeaning reason!
4. promised to "unite" Europe but suffered the MOST RESIGNATIONS of ILLUSTRIOUS Knights in the entire KOR history in any given region!
5. adapted the "Filipino Muna" policy that was intended to promote buying, selling, use of Philippine products and services, but NOT to "EXALT" or "PROMOTE" the UNQUALIFIED to higher office!
6. knows a lot of DIRTY TRICKS (Brussels meeting he called last March 2007!), but cannot speak about Dr Jose Rizal's relevance today and tomorrow; cannot say something about some symbols on the KOR emblem (?), refuse to put an AGENDA for the Brussels meeting he called March 2007, etc. etc.!
7. is accused of PLAGIARING a book on Dr Jose Rizal, where almost UNKNOWN family details only he would FOR SURE know appeared! And his "sidekick" generously poured praises on his boss' ability to author "Born to be ..."
8. is accused of plagiarizing Andres Bonifacio's Pilipino translation of "Mi Ultimo Adios"!
9. is Filipino also, but became quite a "character" more for unRizalian than Rizalian reasons!
10. find flaky excuses, unRizalian by all appearances, to NOT attend the 6-17 February 2008 Schriesheim gathering!

need i say more...?

Imagine yourself, Sir Barry, as the only Filipino in the Wilhelmsfeld-Heidelberg Chapter, among a company of German Knights, with truly illustrious ACCOMPLISHMENTS and stellar personalities! Then comes one with his "Filipino Muna" ideas that he himself FAILED (apparently?) to expound upon for the benefit of his European audience/listeners!

The cases of Sir Lino Paras is already in the hands of the Legal Department of the KOR as instructed by Sir Hilario Davide KGCR and given to Sir Esguerra KGCR to have expidited by the legal department. There is a follow up to the legal department last Monday by Sir Ver requesting that this be given attention to and that the SC is awaiting the
findings.

The case of Loreno Guevarra is with the Council of Elders and although you have heard and read the letters of Sir Gempeshaw you are only hearing one side. I am afraid that when the facts are publicly known then and only then will everyone be aware of the seriousness of the charges laid out by the Supremo and unfortunately had to be brought for a full hearing so that justice will be carried out for the benefit of the good name of the Order. Everyone involved has agreed that the findings of the Council of Elders as laid down by the byelaws will be duly adhered to..

You have asked to hear the other sides of the stories but this would be totally unfair to the parties concerned because you are not the Council of Elders and it is their job to listen to and judge who is right and who is wrong. We must await their findings and decisions. You would not ask a Supreme County Court Judge to tell you the evidence in a case before the jury or tribunal has listened to both sides. What you are demanding is totally wrong and unjust.

As I told you before I am not taking sides as you know I am my own man and will say as I see.

With regard to you finishing of your e.mails why don't you wait till the cases have been decided on before you make any demands to rid the KOR of notable members. One a member of the Council of Elders and 5 times Supreme Commander who has been respected world wide. Sir Rogelio Quiambao.

The acting against Sir Ver Esguerra who has only taken over the helm since February 2007 in place of Sir Hilario Davide KGCR seems to be out of sorts. You accused him of hiding an alleged donation of 5000 dollars which I have given you evidence there was donations each year of 500 euros. Sir Alex Mushake does not and did not use dollars as in Germany the currency is Euros which is accepted everywhere in the world. These donations were also received before Sir Ver's time in office.

I am trying to investigate and find the answers to all the problems which are seemingly arisen from the lack of communications from the office and responses were not forthcoming.

I remember one time of complaining strongly and was told there are problems with the Servers. I was asked by Ms Loren to use her private e.mail address to send my mails but at that time I did not think anything of it.,

However now I have other ideas and I am not going to list these as I also wish to wait on the Council of Elders decisions on the cases filed before them.

I hope that you willbe kind enough to also await and give the courtesy due to the Council of Elders to judge the cases in front of them

Sir Ver telephoned me and he has advised me that he is requesting an I have also been told that the KOR Youth Leadership papers are being handed over by Sir Manny and this should take place this week.

With due respect upon our prestigious and honorable Wilhelmsfeld-Heidelberg Chapter, it apparently and ultimately got lost upon Plückebaum, one like him pretending to lead cannot INSPIRE when his day-to-day talks and actions are incongruent upon each other!

Didn't Plückebaum once advise Lazir to talk in person to the Knight he has disagreement/s with? Wasn't (Denunziant!) Plückebaum the same person who gave that wise advice, as he most treacherously STABBED brother Knight Lazir on the back when Plückebaum lied and complained to Lazir's employer, the US Army, that Lazir spread SPAMs, LIES, etc. during office time, in Plückebaum's hot pursuit of a KGOR title, which Quiambao, for not so valid/transparent reasons other than TREACHERY, quickly awarded to MOST UNETHICAL Plückebaum last February 2009! Did Plückebaum denounce Lazir on his own volition or upon the orders of someone high in IHQ?

Fake, unscrupolous individuals trotting around heavy with undeserved titles/ranks, calling themselves "Knights of Rizal", the likes of treacherous/lying Plückebaum, corrupt Quiambao, lying/inutile Esguerra, racist/evil scheming Paras & Alcoba, incompetent/lazy Guansing, "yes Sir" Nollas, partisan Samuela, etc. bring DISHONOR, SHAME to the KOR, while they fill their ego in FUN, FUN, FUN assemblies laced with the good name of the Great Malayan!

In just a FEW WORDs, you likewise brilliantly PINPOINTED to the WRONG that ails this KOR!

The real SCANDAL is the WEAK "Leadership" of Sir Virgilio R. Esguerra!

He has been informed countless times, provided with EVIDENCE of RACISM and PLAGIARISM, yet did/does nothing! WHY?

In contrast, Sir Hilario ACTED quickly, ordering Sir Lino Paras to EXPLAIN within 24 hours! He told complainants to sign, notarize their written Complaints! That is STRONG LEADERSHIP!

Instead of a DIRECT RESPONSE from Sir Virgilio Esguerra, I get all these e-mails that SERVE MORE to MUDDLE THE ISSUE/S!
(Letters about "subjudice" violation, "hypocritical attitude", "maliscious lies", "NAKAKAHIYA", and the like!)

Did Lazir plagiarize a book? NOT YET!
Did Lazir pronounce anything RACISTIC? NOT YET!

With due respect to TRUE Rizalists, here's my observations on Sir Lino Paras, KGOR, and his "code of ethics":

1. Sir Lino Paras loves himself more! PLAGIARIZING Jose Baron Fernandez's book (to get KGOR?) is CRIMINAL! ...such a Criminal ACT is definitely NOT love of country and people!

2. Per Sir Dr Fritz Hack-Ullmer, Sir Lino Paras uttered RACISTIC remarks during an assembly in the German Black Forest! Racistic remarks against anyone DOES NOT PROMOTE international understanding! On the contrary...!

3. Dr Jose Rizal was NEVER Racistic nor self-serving! By plagiarizing Andres Bonifacio's "Huling Paalam", Sir Lino certainly DID NOT venerate the memory of the hero, founder of the Katipunan!

4. Lying is NOT honorable! By claiming to have donated P2M worth of donation to the needy in the Philippines, which came from the hard work of Sir Francois Ooms, his Chapter officers/members, their spouses and families, Sir Lino Paras valued himself far below his own Honor and his Life!

5. How can Sir Lino Paras strive to do Justice to his fellowmen, when as a passenger in Sir Lucien's car on a Leitmeritz Trip, Sir Lino Paras claimed this to have been his work and his labor? Sir Lucien organized and coordinated everything. To accompany Sir Lucien as a passenger is not organizing nor coordinating work!

6. To lie, manipulate facts/details, claim the work of others to be one's own, etc. etc. is NOT finding meaning and purpose in life, in the right sense! The more appropriate term applicable to Sir Lino Paras' "finding" would be, "Tinimbang ka ngunit kulang...!"

7. How can Sir Lino Paras "Uphold Freedom at all costs" when his Invitation to his 26 April 2008 Consultative Meeting says: "No Confirmation - No Entry." Sir Lino Paras wants to enjoy his FREEDOM to LIMIT OTHERS' FREEDOM! What he wants is to LIMIT who attends his meeting/s!

8. When Sir Lino Paras claims he "maintains a tolerant and understanding attitude towards his fellow men", he might be referring to his work to get KGOR rank to his UNDESERVING boys! Never mind if Sir Lino Paras CUT the March 2007 Brussels meeting SHORT as he claimed to have an important appointment! Never mind if other attendees came from as FAR as Ireland!

9. Sir Lino Paras "believes in the value of education essential to the formation of the character of man". This is "lip service" as he seemed to have NOT completed his Education. Example: If he indeed completed a 3-year Belgian University education, how come he abhorrs putting an AGENDA to his meetings? Which western education teaches MANIPULATION of FACTS to one's advantage? Or, how come he claims to have authored "Born to be a Hero", yet he CANNOT WRITE coherently, nor PRESIDE a meeting he calls?

10. Sir Lino Paras promotes a myopic social justice and general welfare style. He seems to believe that being the "highest" Filipino Knight in Europe (at all costs!) promotes social justice and general welfare!

11. Sir Lino Paras is "industrious, self-reliant, persevering and conscious" of his OWN plight! In his view, he seems to see only HIMSELF as the "less-fortunate!" (Why have a photo-op holding a box for a container, then leave, WITHOUT really HELPING fill the container? Why grab CREDIT for something OTHERS worked hard to do?)

12. A true Rizalist is thruthful and honest in thoughts, words and in deeds, while AWAKE!, not while ASLEEP. These words may ring TRUE about Sir Lino Paras sleeps!

Sir Lino Paras indeed ACTS LOUDER THAN WORDS!

Any developments on the written accusations Lazir sent IHQ pls?

1. The unsolved plagiarism charges vs. Mr Paras... (IHQ losing docs is a bad sign...! Just letting this "slide away" is even WORSE a solution!)

2. The racistic e-mails of Mr Alcoba...(Sir Lucien reportedly forwarded those e-mails very recently to supreme commander...)

3. How about the forgery charges leveled against Mr Collantes, Canada? Lazir met Sir Ka Miling Silverio in person, 14 Sep 08. He is a kind man, very honorable a person, with bearing! A big contrast, compared to Mr Collantes...! Sir Ka Miling is apparently being "USED" or 'ABUSED", or both! perhaps wittingly or unwittingly!

4. Or the requested copy/ies of the recommendations to exalt Mr Guansing, Mr Nollas, Mr Alcoba? Since it was an exaltation, it should be something to be PROUD OF! Why keep this/these so SECRET?? Deserving or UNDESERVING? The request to have a copy of the back-up docs pertinent to this exaltation was sent about a year ago (Oct 2007?). Any development?

5. Or just what happened really to that estimated Euro 5,000 that Mr Mushake donated sometime 1999-2000 to KOR or IHQ, as per his telephone confirmation with Lazir, when Mr Quiambao was supposedly Supreme Commander (a London assembly showed his name as such)? Mr Esguerra said that IHQ has NO RECORDS of this donation? IHQ said they are checking with the bank, but then it became quiet AFTER saying that. ...and months are flying by! Granting that the Euro 5,000 (more or less) was spent for a Rizalian purpose, there should be some mention of this somewhere, right? In 2008 wouldn't seem appropriate...!

To fly high, KOR must drop UNWANTED weights/baggage/s!

If KOR did attempt to rid itself of an honorable man, Sir Jun Zerrudo (complete with 64 pages of paper plus annexes!), while the man is actively PROPAGATING the ideas/ideals/principles of Dr Jose Rizal (IAW R.A. 646 to the letter!), in thoughts, in words, and in deeds, why can't IHQ investigate/prosecute/punish criminal acts (Plagiarism, Racism, Forgery and the like are criminal!)?

It is a Supreme Commander LET DOWN, a DISAPPOINTMENT bordering on INCOMPETENCE/IGNORANCE OF THE LAW to "hang" a Sir Jun Zerrudo and let go the likes of Mr Paras, Mr Alcoba, Mr Collantes, who committed criminal acts!

The blame doesn't go to the courageous reporter, but to IHQ top management -- the decision makers up above!

Such SHAMEFUL & SHAMELESS acts contribute to a dive in KOR integrity, credibility, respect!

By the way, R.A. 646 has NO such explicit PROHIBITION on use of any (KOR) logo, emblem, name in the PURSUIT OF RIZALISM for its own sake! Sir Jun is an illustrious Knight, for lifting the hero's name up high! His top-caliber IFKOR Conference proved how valid the National Hero's visions and words are, even in this 21st century!

However, anyone not possessing "good moral character", per Sec 4 of the same R.A. 646, CANNOT be a member nor be called a Knight! This is a PRE-CONDITION to membership in the KOR! Without "good moral character", one is quickly out!

Thru this alone, Mr Paras, Mr Alcoba, Mr Collantes and perhaps even Mr Esguerra (didn't he tolerate or approve the "exaltation" of Mr Alcoba to KGOR last July 2007, Paris, France?), Mr Quiambao (isn't he the godfather" of Mr Paras and Mr Collantes in the KOR, if not the one who pushed for their inclusion into this illustrious Order?). Now, if Mr Lopez, Mr Chavez will keep pushing for the dismissal of Sir Jun Zerrudo, they will also exit the KOR before Sir Jun, by virtue of Sec. 4, R.A. 646!

When you "sell" a bad egg, you BECOME bad too, right? Because you are CHEATING! (Contrary to "good moral character"!)

THE TRUTH ABOUT SIR ALCOBA AND RACISM

Dear Sir Alcoba,

Sorry for the late response, but I am just back from a 10-day field exercise, spend a quiet week-end with my wife, and had to prepare my LL-, FI- and AA Reports.

Yes, I still write SIR because my rearing tells me to try always to be polite (although I do not always succeed) and as both of us are Knights of Rizal we use the word Sir. You, as well as I, know that a lot of persons became KoR just because of having a calling card with “Sir” before their name. On the doorbell of Sir Lino is even mentioned SIR Lino Wy Paras! He is the only ‘Sir’ in the apartment building and probably the only individual in Belgium who has it on his doorbell!

Will you please stop calling me a racist?

Do you know that during the few years I stayed in Belgium I founded an organization that collected money for disabled Filipino children? That my sister and I sponsored Filipino students? Just ask H. E Ambassador Zaide and Consul-General Sir Peter. They attended one of the Filipino weeks I organized in Eeklo, which resulted in a benefit of 200.000 BEF in the early nineties.

You selectively answered some of my questions, but only because you want to try and show me in a bad light.

Here are my replies to your questions:

1. “Why the sudden interest in knowing the resumes and reasons for the elevation to KGOR of Sir Bhoy Alcoba, Sir Rudy Nollas and Sir Tony Guansing, ? Why, is it because they are Filipino's ?”

Answer:

a. KGOR’s are conferred to this rank (see the manual!)

b. The reason I ask is because other Knights have also asked this question, but received no reply, and we would like to know, so that their exemplary deeds might be emulated by others. The three names, because they were the last Knights who were so conferred in Paris and Brussels. By coincidence I am sure they are all Filipinos from the Brussels Chapter! Are there really secrets about this? YES, if NO ANSWER is given to this question. As I already wrote, you should be flattered that your fellow Knights would wish to know what you, Sir Rudy Nollas and Sir Tony Guansing have accomplished. This could be a good impulse for other Knights to follow your exemplary deeds and may be also have the honour to become a KGOR.

c. Are you aware that there are now 8 KGOR’s in Belgium? This is more than the rest of the other European countries together. Any idea why this might be so?

Actually, I was recommended by Sir Lino. Any problem with this? If you do want to know why I was recommended, ask IHQ. This should be on file. Are you again trying to set Brother against Brother with this last question? It is not your first time to do so. Did you forget that Sir Lino was the first to raise this Racism question at the meeting in Neuenweg in Germany some years ago? Are you again attempting to call me a racist? I hardly think you really want to do that, or have you just been dictated to in the use of that word?

Did you forget that during the second European Assembly in Brussels, your group of drivers (all Filipinos) asked to be paid for their work? (Some Km) All others Knights (Filipinos and Belgians) did not even think of being reimbursed for their small expenses. We paid each of your drivers the 1.000 BEF they asked for. At that moment we were not called Racists!

We Belgian drivers brought Sir Quimbao and his group to Heidelberg/Wilhelmsfeld (about 1000 Km.). Nobody even asked to be reimbursed. Do you still remember that a certain Filipino Knight did not want to pay for the lunch and dinner because he claimed he did not attend? The video film and pictures proved the opposite! He and his wife were sitting at the table! Racism? Come on, Sir Alcoba, please be serious!

3. As a Former Chapter Commander of El Fili Chapter, you have been very biased in giving warning letters to Filipino members of the Chapter and never gave the same warning letters to the other European members of the Chapter, why ? If you are a true knight as some people say you are, why are you so defiant (sic) from the orders of the SC? When you were conferred to KGOR, we acknowledge and congratulated you, why can't you do the same as a TRUE bro. knight?

When I became Chapter Commander I sent three letters to all the ‘sleeping, not paying, Members’ The following Belgian Knights, whom I had never seen at our meetings or activities, received the three consecutive letters. I asked IHQ that these members should be dismissed from the Order. This should be on file in Manila. As one of the early members of the El Filibusterismo Chapter, those names should ring a bell. Do you really understand the consequences of your question? The Belgian Knights who also received this letter were:

Daeleman, Christian; Dendeux, Michel; Hiers, Ernest; Kukenheim, Robert; Lafaut, Peter; Vanden, Borre; Verrees, Roger; Stroomer, Marc; De Keyser, Frans; Bostoen, Pascal; Coosemans, Claude; Rammelo, Roland.

Are those Filipino names?

With this act I was given the nickname “Dictator!” Just because I did my duty!

What do you think about the letters sent by my predecessor, Chapter Commander, Sir Jaime V. Ledda; dated Brussels, 17 October 2000? He asked his Deputy to send those letters because of his position as Consul at the embassy.

Letter reads as follows:

Dear Sir:

Your long absence in the activities and/or non-payment of dues of the Order of the Knights of Rizal - El Filibusterismo Chapter have prompted me to expressly inquire whether or not you are still interested in your membership.

If you wish to renew your bonds with the Order of the Knights of Rizal - El Filibusterismo Chapter, you are kindly requested to attend the General Assembly meeting on 27 October 2000 at the Philippine Embassy, Avenue Moliere 297, 1050 Brussels and/or to update your membership dues.

If you wish to sever your relationship with the Order, I would appreciate receiving your written reply to this letter expressing such intention not later than 27 October 2000. Otherwise, the Order will be constrained to automatically drop you from the rolls of membership.

Boy oh Bhoy,

I´m very much shocked about the emails you´ve been writing lately.

Are you writing those emails of your own accord or on behalf of somebody else? So to speak, your master´s voice, for whom you are doing the dirty jobs he is not able or willing to do, or your own?

Do you remember, when we met in Bonn last autumn, I asked you, because you had been using terms like “crazy” and “mental asylum” in your letters before, if you were an expert in these matters, i.e. a psychiatrist or a psychologist? You denied that. So I thought those words had been a singular lapse. But after reading that you are using the same terminology in recent emails again, the only conclusion I can draw from that is the question, if you, as you are so familiar with that subject, are suffering from the same disease.

This seems to be underlined by the fact that you, whenever you cannot find a rational argument in a dispute, call other people with different opinions “crazy” or “racist”.

I was struck, when in Bonn last autumn, during that interesting and meaningful discussion about José Rizal, at the table where you and all those KGORs were sitting, they only seemed to be present in a physical sense. They seemed unwilling (for lack of interest?) or unable (for lack of knowledge or intellectual abilities?) to take part in the discussion, whereas many others did so.

Your constant denouncing of others as “crazy” or “racist” is un-Rizalian, anti-Rizalian, primitive and stupid and does not become a Knight of Rizal, let alone a KGOR. Such a behaviour is a disgrace for our Order.

You disqualify yourself with every word you are writing, and the most ridiculous thing is when you are writing, “the truth to come out”.

WHAT WE RIZALISTS DO NOT KNOW ABOUT RIZAL

When Dr Ferdinand Blumentritt received gift from Dr Jose Rizal A 3 piece of his artwork in terracotta, it was made ”public” when an eminent German scientist and pathologist, Dr. Rudolf Virchow delivered an obituary to Rizal in Berlin, Germany, a year after Rizal was executed in Bagumbayan in 1896.

In his obituary, Dr Virchow did not only mention Rizal as his colleague and fellow member of the Berlin Society, he also was emphatic on Rizal’s “sensitivity as an artist”.

The three pieces in terracotta by which RizaL depict in varied or related themes were (1) Prometheus Bound, (2) The Triumph of Intellect over Death and (3) Victory of Death over Life.

In the first artwork, Rizal showed his deep knowledge and interest in Greek mythology by using a mythical hero, Prometheus, whose hands were tied to a rock with an eagle devouring his liver as punishment.Going back to Greek mythology, Prometheus was of one the Gods in Mount Olympus with Zeus as their BIG boss. Prometheus has soft spot in his heart and has nothing but pity and sympathy to man who was created to be a stupid and obedient slave.

One day when Zeus was sleeping, Prometheus stole the fire then went down to earth and gave it man. Thus putting an end to man’s stupidity. Having received the fire, man is now equipped with “knowledge”, “intelligence” and “independence”.

Angered, for having been deceived and betrayed by a lesser god, Zeus has ordered the arrest of Prometheus and meted a commensurate punishment by having Prometheus chained with both hands tied to big rock while an eagle was assigned to guard him and to eat his liver before flying home. This is how Zeus exacted his revenge when looking at the sculpture.

It became routine that the moment the eagle disappears at nighttime the liver started to grow until the morning comes for the eagle to start his guard duty and then eat t liver again before the night falls.

Rizal used the mythic hero Prometheus as symbolism to further explain his philosophy. In his NOLI dedication addressed to the Filipino people revealed that his aim is not only to expose the Spanish government and the Church abuses but also to remove the veil of ignorance that has kept his countrymen 300 years of ignorance and superstition.

By opening their minds that will bring light through education will liberate them from eternal darkness. It is logical to equate Light, Torch and Fire to mean “Knowledge”, “Learning”, “Education”, “awakening”, “liberation” and “emancipation”.

I can still recall my elementary and high school years when we are required to use NOTE BOOK for writing and homework. You may recall to memory that the cover of the NOTE BOOK made of manila paper shows a picture of a TORCH and around it is boldly printed “KNOWLEDGE IS POWER” or “ANG KARUNUNGAN AY TANGLAW”.

The second Rizal artwork depicts a naked lady with her hands up holding a torch.to illustrates “The Triumph of Intellect Over Death”. Rizal used the symbolic TORCH or LIGHT to wipe out ignorance, superstition and darkness.

A close look at the third artwork demonstrates how sensitive Rizal was on the grim reality when mortal life is extinguished. The sculpted skeleton with his wardrobe holding a naked woman in his “skeletal’ hands symbolized “The Victory of Death over Life”, the title Rizal gave, reflects the popular theme when the evil forces of darkness gain upper hand from the forces of good and righteousness.

Depicting the interplay of life and death is still the most popular theme among writers, dramatists, poets, philosophers and composers from the Renaissance to the present.

THE MARK OF INCOMPETENCE...

Newspaper columnist, Mr William Esposo (As I wreck this Chair!) inspired Lazir to further illustrate KOR examples on Incompetence!

In one of his columns, Mr Esposo aptly listed the three signs that mark the incompetent manager!

Here they are numbered one to three (illustrated cases were written by Lazir):

1. The first is inaction in the face of crisis, minor or major.

The Paras plagiarism case:

A signed complaint, duly notarized by a lawyer, was filed by Sir Klaus Hartung against Mr Felino Paras, who was identified attempting to claim the work, "Jose Rizal, Filipino, Doctor and Patriot", by Jose Baron Fernandez, as his (Paras), giving "Born to be a Hero" as title. The voluminous documents were sent to IHQ, per Sir Hilario's directive. When Sir Hilario had to go to his new post at the UN, Mr Virgilio Esguerra took/accepted the KOR helm as deputy supreme commander. Follow-up mails/letters were sent to IHQ Manila, asking IHQ to re-consider or correct the wrong done about the plagiarization attempt and the shameful as well as unqualified Paras appointment! Years and months passed. Mr Esguerra did nothing to even at least investigate Mr Paras! Mr Paras sat as European commander for 2 years.

In 2008, IHQ Manila appointed a replacement for Mr Paras. He was not at all investigated! Simply stated, Mr Esguerra seemed to not know what to do!

2. The second is employing the wrong action, the result of poor judgment in deciding how to resolve a problem.

The Alcoba promotion to KGOR case:

Mr Cesar Alcoba wrote racistic e-mails that also contained indecent words. Contrary to Mr Esguerra's claim of intolerance, instead of investigating Mr Alcoba, Mr Esguerra himself personally exalted/promoted Mr Alcoba from KCR to KGOR in July 2007, Paris, France, the 2nd highest rank in the KOR!, less than 3 months after Mr Esguerra stated that the KOR does not tolerate racism and indecent words!

3. And the third is the tendency to overreact, much like wanting to kill a fly with a bomb.

The Zerrudo expulsion case:

Instead of investigating Mr Paras for plagiarism, and/or Mr Alcoba for racism, Mr Esguerra as supreme commander allowed the investigation, prosecution and subsequent expulsion of a truly illustrious, hard-working, honorable Knight, Sir Jun Zerrudo, Sarborough, Canada, for the wrong charges, although the latter, if one simply would dig deeper on his (Sir Jun Z) acts, letters, correspondences, was simply following the full intent, letter and spirit of R.A. 646: To further the ideas, ideals and teachings of Dr Jose Rizal!

Mr Esguerra was in Toronto, Canada last Aug-Sep 2008, where he attended the Fun! Fun! Fun! hollow type of Rizalism. If he is a true Rizalist as he claims to be, why didn't he meet with any one of the Scarborough Knights, foremost of them, Sir Jun Zerrudo? [During his lifetime, Dr Jose Rizal never faltered nor waivered to face adversity, problems, challenges!] KOR sent Mr Esguerra to Toronto, Canada! to fulfill his mandate on Rizalism, the very purpose set out by R.A. 646, that seeks to further the cause of the national hero! Attending a hollow Fun! party is not the Rizalian thing to do, moreso if your hotel/airfare is paid for by KOR members!

For doing not much Rizalian in Toronto, Canada, Mr Esguerra's airfare and hotel bills were shouldered by the KOR!, while Sir Jun Zerrudo, who did what R.A. 646 embodied, was expelled from the KOR!

Granting now that Mr Esguerra claims he knows nothing of this investigation, prosecution and expulsion of Sir Jun Zerrudo. If he does claim innocence, the more he is INCOMPETENT! As current KOR supremo, he should know what the Supreme Council, which he supposedly heads, has on its plate at all times!

Mr Esposo wrote further: "A good manager is defined by the ability to manage problems in a way that will result in the best positive results and the least possible damage."

Since Mr Esguerra let months and years pass doing nothing on the above problems, he did qualify for all the three signs of an incompetent manager in the definition of Mr Esposo!

And since Mr Esguerra (brought and) continues to bring damage to the illustrious KOR simply by sitting there, doing nothing to investigate the corrupt, Lazir might as well conclude that Mr Esguerra is himself corrupt!

Pres Obama fulfilled his campaign promise on first day of office! He is slowly TRANSFORMING America! He signed executive edicts that will REMOVE TOO MUCH SECRECY, bring more TRANSPARENCY in the White House, deliver service/serve his constituents and people better/faster, froze pay of many executives in government, prohibited gifts from lobbyists, and a lot more! He proudly mentioned he took the ETHICS class! ...that he is not exempt from this rule himself!

Author wrote these but didn't do it! He lied and is therefore DISHONEST! Dishonesty is CONTRADICTORY to Good Moral Character! To add insult to injury, author even EXALTED the racist writer of "vulgar and indecent words" from KCR to KGOR, less than 3 months after writing those same words! In addition, his airfare/hotel expenses flying from Manila to Paris, France, July 2007, were PAID FOR by the KOR, effectively receiving SUBSIDY from KOR members WORLDWIDE!

Lazir's ONE QUESTION please:

How come Mr Virgilio Esguera is STILL A MEMBER of the KOR, giving orders, running the entire KOR, traveling at KOR's EXPENSE! although per RA 646, Sec 4, he doesn't posses Good Moral Character?

FACTS:

KOR MEMBERSHIP hinges upon Good Moral Character, Reputation, Sympathy with KOR purposes in addition to legal age!

Ergo, WITHOUT Good Moral Character/Reputation (plus the age of majority) one cannot be a KOR Member!

Lying and dishonesty are both CONTRADICTORY to Good Moral Character, and DO NOT CONFORM to the KOR's enumerated purposes!

NOWHERE in the KOR's Purposes/Charter does it mention LYING, DISHONESTY as requirements!

NOWHERE does it say that LYING, DISHONESTY is patriotic, Rizalian chivalry, spreading the teaching/s of Dr Jose Rizal!

Nor does LYING, DISHONESTY keeping alive the hero's consecrated memory, or show the hero's exemplary and exalted principles! On the contrary...!

CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION:

Therefore, Mr Virgilio Esguerra is NEITHER a KOR Member, nor its incumbent Supreme Commander!(per Sec 4, RA 646) and must be stripped of all titles, functions, ranks, benefits thereof for acting AGAINST the tenets, language of RA 646 and the purposes enumerated thereat; for having conducted himself INIMICAL to the INTERESTS of the KOR!

THE WAY WE WERE AND THE WAY WE ARE TODAY

To understand the kind of people we are today, let us open the past through the pages of the FILI novel to read a Latin expression that Rizal borrowed from an ancient Roman poet.

Dead for almost two centuries ago, Dr Rizal like a good father still casts his long shadow to describe the people he cared who were victims of Spanish and American colonialism culminating into damaged culture. Colonization like imperialism in reality is short of subjugation of people including their displacement and death

Ironical and strange Rizal was not even called the “father of his country” yet he has both the veneration and adoration of the people, and through his writings we remember and often borrow quotations from him, although not all quotations are originally his.

Horace, the ancient Roman poet whom the Order of the Knights of Rizal borrowed the Latin phrase, “non omnis moriar” has bequeathed another Latin expression that Dr. Rizal borrowed and used to show his universality of ideas and at the same time revealing his keen interest and understanding of the Roman classics.

Here is a quote you can find in “El Filibusterisimo”, “AETAS PARENTUM PEJOR AVIS TULIT NOS NEQUIORES” which translated to English means, ”The Age of our fathers, worse than that of their fathers, has bred us even worse than them”.

Still another observer pointed out, “those families who amassed wealth during Marcos regime continue to keep amassing wealth under the different presidents succeeding him. What an intriguing observations for the present generation of Filipinos to confront!

Its not surprising to see once in a while to hear “howlings” in the streets of Manila and suburban towns “Revolution!” Spirit of EDSA, “IBAGSAK ANG GOBIERNO” “DAYA! MAGNANAKAW!” reminding President Gloria Arroyo the lessons of the past. Was this not what Marcos read too but refused to believe the “writings in the wall” in the years before 1986?

Are we still looking for EDSA type of “palace revolution? What good is the “revolution” if it only brings false hope to the excited masa expecting a ” real” revolution of higher expectation? Take note that the price of galunggong kept on increasing before and after the fall of Marcos and that of Estrada!

How true is Latin dictum depends on how you look at the way public servants behave in the conduct of their office? It also depend how the people prostituted themselves dancing with the wolves in the government or with the politicians for few pesos dole come election time. Even if said investigation is carried out by somebody, other than you, it still involves you because you are in command, aren't you? How come Lazir's UNWARRANTED investigation? What did Lazir do wrong? Elaborate and enumerate please because the illustrious KOR may not be involved in any WITCH-HUNT under whoever's watch!

2. You mentioned once that KGOR exaltations are not done only by you but together with the Supreme Council ICW (in compliance with) the By-Laws. Isn't Lazir then correct for accusing you Sir Esguerra and the Supreme Council (together with Sir Quiambao) for favoritism?, exalting Sir Alcoba to KGOR, despite his "vulgar and indecent words" weeks/months before? And exalting Sirs Paras (identified to be very close to Sir Quiambao), Guansing, Nollas, Alcoba even if UNDESERVING? What EXEMPLARY deed did these four Belgian Filipinos do to warrant their KGOR exaltation/s? Lazir asked for this nomination document or minutes of meeting deliberating on this specific exaltation/s. That was Oct or Nov 2007! That's twelve months ago, yet you never responded Sir Esguerra! Why? Aren't you PROUD of people you and the 2007 Supreme Council exalted to KGOR?

3. Among the 2007 Supreme Council members during the meeting/deliberations, who voted YES, who voted NO to, who ABSTAINED in the apparently UNDESERVING exaltations of Sirs Paras, Guansing, Nollas, Alcoba to KGOR? Were the By-Laws followed to the letter? Can Lazir see the evidence please?

4. As Supreme Commander, don't you think you should be BEYOND reproach? Isn't LEADERSHIP BY EXAMPLE one of your most, if not THE most important function/s? How come then you say "we do not tolerate" then a few weeks/months later exalt the "vulgar" e-mail writer to KGOR? Do you want to deny having anything to do with Sir Alcoba's exaltation last July 2007, Paris, France? Do you want to say it was not YOU in Paris? ...that it was somebody else conferring the sash & trinket? Should Lazir produce photographic evidence?

5. How valid is your claim to TRUE RIZALISM? True Rizalists do not lie. Could you please answer Lazir's above questions honestly, truthfully without reservations nor remorse? Can you look your children/grandchildren straight in the eye saying so?

6. Didn't you one time claim "NO KNOWLEDGE" of Sir Alcoba's "vulgar and indecent words in KOR"? Sir Lucien sent you those e-mails of Sir Alcoba very recently. Are you saying you still do not have them! Shall we re-send?

8. Having those racistic, "vulgar and indecent" e-mails, will you now order an investigation of Sir Alcoba? If found guilty, will you really expel him? Or will you just wait till your term ends (in 2010), without asking for Sir Alcoba's investigation, preferring to AVOID a confrontation with your Tanay neighbor Sir Paras?

Dr Jose Rizal never avoided confrontation, if he knew it would ferret out the Truth, advance Justice, and promote Democracy! He was no fake!

9. Under your "leadership watch" Lazir got Memo 006, Series of 2008 for generalized charges (in your words, "mudslinging of some officers of the Supreme Council and Council of Elders"). For fairness' sake, can you please be a bit more specific and also give Lazir a chance to respond? Are you afraid of lowly Lazir?

10. Sir Jun Zerrudo got "investigated and expelled" under your watch Sir Esguerra for doing things Dr Jose Rizal himself would have done: campaign for Reforms, write clarifying letters, submitting polite protest notes,...ultimately, after having been ignored many years by KOR "leadership" despite his VALID grievances, he helped organize the 1st truly RIZALIAN Conference that KOR could but NEVER did! Is that competent of KOR to claim authority on the national hero then organize worldwide assemblies hollow, empty of RIZALISM, yet full of Fun! Fun! Fun! Including exaltations of even the UNDESERVING?

As Supreme Commander, you practically WASTE KOR funds, paying for your worldwide trips, hotel bills! Rizalian in nature???

Not all Filipinos are corrupt! Many KOR members are not corrupt either! No one has the right to take such pride from anyone! We right-minded Knights want to salvage whatever is left of our illustrious KOR and our self-respect!

The days of corrupt practices and abuse in the country are over...!

We are not dealing with principled individuals under the present Esguerra-led KOR!

Knowing this, please make very very sure, Mr Paras in Belgium does not PLAGIARIZE your book, claiming to have written it, proudly prefaced by Mr Nollas (now IHQ's Belgium area "kumander" designate), and supported by Messrs. Alcoba (proven racist) and Guansing (IHQ's Europe "kumander" designate)! How on earth could IHQ pick so qualified "leaders"? What's the criteria?

Remember, these four have the supreme "kumander's" full trust and confidence, all KGORs (scary!), you will never win should you complain to KOR IHQ that your book has been copied or plagiarized!

Worse, what could even happen is that IHQ will initiate a memo (Memo 030, series of 2008?), investigating you for doing things INIMICAL to the Order! Does it sound HIGH-HANDED? It happened not just once! Even Sir Lucien has been reported to be under investigation! Any more surprises?

Then a report might be sent to IHQ, saying they launched your book also now, just in time for the Christmas holidays! ...just in time as well for some top honcho at IHQ to submit a recommendation to exalt these 4 to KGCRs! At the rate and quality of "leaders" KOR now has, who would wonder if IHQ would one day nominate a cat, a dog, a pig to be a "Knight"? Complete with sashes, trinkets, medals galore! If a snake won't wiggle, they might make it a "Knight" as well!

And lo and behold, 4 KGCR exaltations could rain upon Belgium! When IHQ acts, it's always ICW (in compliance with) RA 646, KOR By-Laws!, right? Or have you forgotten they have top jurists sitting in that tiny office at Intramuros...? The pinning of sashes, trinkets, KGCR medals could be done in February 2009, during the much-ballyhoed Manila assembly, organized by no less than Mr 5x! a.k.a. the BOSS himself (in Japanese, "Hudas nating rong!"; in Chinese, "Hudas nating long!")!

You know, we can keep repeating these words, "Paras, the Belgian gardener!", whether we refer to P or to the genuine Louis Paras, as it will earn the ire and hatred of the SHAME and his boys, even IHQ.

If they question our actions, all we have to do is claim (truthfully, mind you!) that we have SOLID proof, HARD evidence, as HARD as stone/marble, to prove that "Paras WAS a former Belgian gardener!"

To whet their hatred even further, we shouldn't show this picture! That would end the MYSTERY very quickly! We can either tell them to go to the King's greenhouses, which could be CLOSED by then! But, we should just keep using/repeating these few words, "Paras, the Belgian gardener"! That's enough to really make them MAD! If King's greenhouses are closed to the public, they can sue us in court, for "malicious insult"???!

Then whatever you could obtain as a supposition or speculation for your answer would be the same as mine. May I call your attention however that what you read in the blog aren't junks but the truth for they are the voice of those knights who would like to seek justice within the concept of Rizal's ideals and teachings! If an organization like KOR is infested to the core by corruptors and manipulators, how do you expect me to reveal my own true identity and only to be prosecuted blindly at the expense of justice?

Who told you that we're in the dark period? Perhaps, you could only be hallucinating or under the effect of a certain drug. If not, you must have a very fertile mind to imagine such a thing. Mr Quiambao's son lived in the Paras household in Brussels, Belgium for many months. Quiambao took Paras into the KOR! Paras mastered faking reports to IHQ, lying, and even attempted to plagiarize a book he titled, "Born to be a Hero".

A true Rizalist, Sir Hilario Davide Jr quickly ordered Paras to respond to the allegations of Plagiarism! Sir Hilario's leaving for his UN post prevented him from resolving the Paras Plagiarism issue!

Esguerra took over the helm of the KOR...did nothing, and kept Paras for about 2 yrs as European Commander! Paras might have been "replaced?" (earnestly?) but his annointed got picked, in all appearances!

The corrupt practice is still very apparent, even with new names! Why, if PROPERly-conducted according to the rules, By-Laws, can't IHQ show compelling, exemplary, immutable reasons for the KGOR promotions?

Hello Mr. Lazir,

Are you asking me if I've the address of Gemma Cruz??? Wow.... You just took me to memory lane. Many eons ago, I met Gemma Cruz together with her mom, Carmen Guerrero Nakpil, her uncle, Fr. Lorenzo Ma. Guerrero, SJ who was my spiritual director, at a get together in Makati. It was a casual meeting. Next I know, she married Tonypet Araneta and moved years later to Mexico. Now, with Mayor Lim, he's an in-law of my uncle. I first met him when I was 20 something, and met him again when my cousin got married, as I was one of the sponsors. Interestingly, Davide and Lim are kumpadres. Davide is a Cebuano, and is a friend of our family even before he was a judge. I am not a political animal, left home as a young woman, and only visited after being away for 25+ yrs. I met all these people that you mentioned, but I personally did not have any relationships with them.

Mr. Lazir, may I remind you, this world is getting smaller. I personally know one of your Grand Knight Officer (commander) in your prestigious organization. He's an Ilocano, a CPA, and as far as I know, he is very decent , hard working and successful. I met him in the mid 70s. This man was humble then, and am sure he is to this day.

Given the info that I gather from your postings, its incredible that you're painting a picture that majority of your members are either DEAF, BLIND OR MUTE, NOT TO MENTION STUPID. I'm not dismissing your allegations, but for the life of me, am struggling to understand the circumstances surrounding your allegations.

Citizens asked on the streets mostly expressed disapproval of the sentence commutation. They said he should taste some jail term, however short, to prove equality before the law!]

All the more does Mr Esguerra deserve to be stripped of his post as Supreme Commander to cut those KOR benefits of free airfare/hotel expenses for travel!

Is the KOR a milking cow, even for abusive acts!

A Cost-Benefit Analysis would show that the KOR funds spent, didn't bring goodwill to the illustrious KOR!

From and after the passage of this Act, it shall be unlawful for any person to falsely and fraudulently call himself as, or represent himself to be, a member of, or an, agent for, the Knights of Rizal; and any person who violates any of the provisions of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment of not exceed six months or a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos or both, in the discretion of the court.

2) valid argumentation (debate), with PROOF! (Paras, Guansing, Collantes or Lazir? ...make your FREE choice!),

3) persuasive intellectual reasoning (Sir Jun Zerrudo, Canada & USA!),

4) competent leadership (Sir Nonong Repotente, Hamburg Chapter; Sir Fran Pulumbarit-Canada Region; Sir Hilario Davide, Jr.-worldwide KOR!),

to name a few!

Sorry that top Esguerra and Quiambao choices/appointments, area or region, are not named/cannot be named because either they are short in qualifications, never showed their qualifications, or really are simply poorly-qualified for the great KOR organization tasks & mundane chores!

From one's language alone, a discerning Knight of Dr Jose Rizal (or even an outsider in the Rizalian realm) could already see/read a fake individual from a true Knight, even from a distance!

Lazir's arguments/rebuttal, coupled with evidence, vis-a-vis IHQ/Esguerra are as valid as Dr Jose Rizal's written accusations against the Spanish colonizers of old! We argue to win and win we will! If neither bullets nor imprisonment could change Dr Jose Rizal's resolve, none will also do against Lazir's! No, not even gutter language of IHQ chorus boys, identified or not!

Everybody knows Esguerra claimed he doesn't tolerate bad words, yet promoted Bhoy Alcoba he did and shouldn't deny it!

As I am doing his communication, I received an E-Mail (an editorial) with a subject: Time to Move, Time to Re-structure. It states that the editorial comes from Ramon Zerrudo, it’s you my friend, Sir Jun.

A free expression of ideas is welcome in our organization because it is through this medium that the group is cultivated, harnessed and strengthened. Matters of great importance are crystallized and solutions to problems are taken collectively. Of course we do not tolerate vulgar and indecent words in KOR. Thanks very kindly for your feedback and comments. I do regret for the long delay of replying but I was kept busy during these last months from my business engagements and travels.

You must have gotten me wrong when you wrote that my writings only sound as a glorified expression of hatred against a certain individual that I mentioned in my article "Who's Who." If you are referring directly to the domestic helper concerned, how could you explain such a feeling of hatred when he is far below of my educational and professional level? He could easily fool you and everybody in the organization about his educational and professional backgrounds, but NEVER those who knew him well, including me! What do you take me for? Stupid? Moron? He'll always be remembered as a domestic no matter what fancy title he would have!

On the other hand, I did not metaphorically/indirectly describe his wife as "STUPID or DUMB". As a matter of fact, she is not only too clever but also too wise to use her charm in order to advance herself to become the mistress and wife of prominent members in the organization where she worked! I would not be surprised at all in case I would find out in the end that her first child could in reality have two fathers. What can you say about that?

I do appreciate your suggestion and recommendation to find important and beneficial things in order to help my countrymen, but how would you expect to succeed to get things done, properly and efficiently, in a deep-rooted corrupt political system, be it in any government establishments or private organizations, like the KOR?

I read through your blogs and I must admit that you sounded to me as an intelligent individual with possibly a very good educational background.

However, No matter how well you write your blogs, To me this writings it only sounds as a glorified expression of hatred against a certain individual.

I am impressed with the amount of homework you have done on his family. Did you just metaphorically/indirectly describe her wife as "STUPID or DUMB"!! . Libelous my friend, No wonder your hiding under the name Laon Laan!

Now let me go back to what I mentioned earlier. Maybe you're not that intelligent after all because if you were, I believe you'll find more important and more beneficial things to do for your fellow countrymen's other than call them "names". I must admit that' what your doing here is a bit entertaining and you seem to have very good ideas about how to improve or do things. Why don't you start your own organization, sports, cultural or whatever it maybe and show them by examples how thing should be done. Who can tell maybe a year from now you'll accomplish exactly what you have written and dreamt for?

Dear Mr. Nollas,

Congratulations for writing a rather commendable testimonial to the researcher-author-publisher in the preface of the manuscript entitled “Born to be a hero.” I wonder if you are still expecting special favors from him just in the event you’d be stripped off of your “diplomatic immunity” that you have intentionally omitted some particular details of his biography in order to safeguard his image as a successful entrepreneur. As a highly esteemed and responsible functionary at the Philippine Embassy, however, this would likely compromise your integrity and credibility considering the sensitive nature of your position which could subsequently jeopardize the security of the embassy that you grant special preferences and favors to third parties. You must be well aware that this kind of treatment on your own personal initiative is tantamount to professional irregularities that could even be worse than nepotism or corruption. Anyway, who cares if the authorities would finally come to know about it? Perhaps they might even promote you or give you a medal instead of an honorable discharge. Nevertheless, don’t worry and be happy! Just leave everything to Lino to get you out of trouble because he doesn’t only have a very long arm to ingratiate himself easily for a favor or two but he also has an unorthodox modus operandi to have his way around with the authorities.

First of all, you have overlooked to mention about his humble origin as a domestic worker of a former Belgian diplomat, a rich Baron living in the Castle of Kortrijk who had sent for him instead of having him sponsored, when he first arrived to Brussels, thanks to his first wife of course. Somehow, this is the dark and sensitive part of his life that he is neither too keen nor too enthusiastic to talk about in order to enhance his enviable position and save his impeccable image of respectability and success as a self-made man to the eyes of his fellow knights and peers. As a matter of fact, one of his former female boarders named Bette had confided me about a dramatic incident immediately after it happened wherein he slapped her very hard across the face after she told him off in the presence of friends and guests that he was already a domestic back home. Incidentally, this showdown took place as a result of their heated altercation following her complaint that she couldn’t sleep from the uproar and pandemonium that they created intermittently during their mahjong and other gambling sessions which went on non-stop far beyond the unholy hours of the morning and even continued the following day.

I’m so surprised that you only made reference to his masters at ULB which I doubt strongly of its existence and veracity. You know in any European universities or institutions of higher learning, anyone could attend courses as an “auditeur libre” without even being enrolled officially. Perhaps, what he really meant by following courses was when he attended some lectures in between his breaks while he did a part time job of cleaning the rooms and toilets after classes. I believe what’s more important and essential to the readers in general would be to know something about his educational qualification and performance while he was in the Philippines and what he had really accomplished to uphold and promote ideals and teachings of Rizal, as a die-hard follower or fanatic.

With regards to his presumption of being a writer in connection to his speaking and writing expertise, there could be a question that would possibly arise about his educational background as to whether or not he really finished his secondary or university studies just in case he should be subjected to undergo a formal proficiency examination under the supervision of a panel of language experts. Should he pass it with flying colors, this would clear him once and for all from any doubts or speculations about his integrity.

When we’re still intimate and best of friends, I remember pretty well that he was long-time employed by an important local outsourcing security firm, Securitas, as a guard stationed in the compounds of the BBL. This doesn’t mean that he was officially connected to or employed in the bank as a member of the staff or personnel, isn’t he? Please check your records carefully.

What an eloquent tribute you have written on him by citing his membership to different organizations, such as the Belgian Chamber on Philippine Economic Relationship, the Belgian-Philippine Chamber of Commerce, the Philippine Tourism Promotion Office in the Benelux, etc. Incidentally, what was his significant role and personal contribution to the development and enhancement of the Philippine economy and tourism? By the way, what frequency range is the DZXL-RMN Belgium online "Bantay OCW" where it everybody interested could tune to eventually? Does the word “online” mean that it has to be downloaded from the Internet or is it one of his make-believe creations that could only be heard within the confines of his kitchen or bathroom?

Speaking of the Philippine Sports Community of Brussels (PSC), everyone knows that he still monopolizes it as the absolute “supremo” and the ultimate policy maker which he created in the 70’s and have himself unilaterally appointed as “president-for-life.” It’s surprising that ever since its creation he has hardly taken any effort or initiative to build up second generation Filipinos to become athletes of international caliber, instead he still uses it as his personal platform for his favorite “pissing” contests where he would always come out as the undisputed winner. I remember how all of his followers and those from the embassy who were intimate with him had granted the most-favored treatment to his sons to rank them as first and second in their family-sponsored tennis tournament finals at the expense of other players who performed better as a gesture of gratitude for his hospitality and generosity. If only he had been too clever to get somebody with the caliber of Justine Henin-Hardenne’s coach who wasn’t even a former champion and practically unknown on the international tennis circuit to train them for peanuts, he’d be mighty proud of himself to have turned them into world champions, like Venus and Serena Williams!

However, through his affiliation and connections with the Benelux Filipino Sports Federation (BFSF), why hasn't he considered to send second-generation Filipinos to any of the local sports organizations that would give them a chance to undergo serious and professional training so that they could participate and compete in any international or Olympic tournaments? What a waste of time that he had never thought seriously of taking advantage of the opportunities that his association could easily avail of from the innumerable possibilities offered by the sophisticated high-tech facilities and infrastructure that are locally available for all-round sport activities. Through all the years under his presidency-for-life, he could have had at least accomplished something worthwhile on a professional level that would have put his name and country on the limelight to have produced an athlete or two that could be a testimony to his everlasting glory, n'est-ce pas?

As to the question of money for the formation and training of athletes, I think they could easily get the necessary funding from the membership fees, sponsor donations and profits from the sports award events that are held every year. In return, they could get back several folds from their initial investment if it turns out that their athlete would be worth as much as the South American players, like Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Maradona, Pele, etc. I wonder where all those money have gone? Is there’s any transparency in the accounting and auditing procedures of the funds of the sports association. In fairness to the members and sponsors, I believe they’re obliged to post their balance sheet and financial statement on a blog or a web site so that everybody could trace where and how every cent is spent and disbursed.

Modesty aside, if I were a lovely young, talented lady with a college diploma and a civil service qualification, I wouldn’t be too stupid or dumb to marry somebody who could be as old as my grandfather just to “join the navy and see the world!” With such a superbly high-sounding credential, I’d rather be too wise and ambitious to look for a very old Texan millionaire instead, like the one in the sensational case of a popular girlie magazine centerfold model who became filthy rich only after a year of marriage than to sacrifice my exotic charm and hard-earned degree only to be coped up in a pigeon-hole apartment somewhere in a heavily North African immigrant area of the city raising kids until I’d become an old tart and contemplating on what a fabulous and glamorous life I could have had elsewhere otherwise! For your information, there were 946 graduates of Foreign Service alone in Lyceum that was officially communicated to me by its dean when I paid her a courtesy call in March 2002. How do you expect to get them all employed at the Foreign Office or elsewhere? Their only hope would be to follow the usual OFW routes to get any unskilled jobs available anywhere or the last but not the least as an alternative out of desperation, the easy way out to opt for the “vagina visa” as an immediate and rapid exit from the ever-growing poverty and misery in the country!

Financial assistance and job placements didn’t come at all free for Lino, but at a high price with an endless of strings attached, of course! According to his own philosophy on charity and hospitality, nothing is gained from nothing that mustn’t be paid in cash or in kind. What more, he would fully expect a lifetime gratitude and loyalty from those who are indebted to him so that he could manipulate or alienate them on his terms and at his own advantage because he would never hesitate to denigrate them by telling them off that if it weren’t for him they’d be back to the “salt mine” breaking rocks for a miserable existence. How very immoral and pathetic!

As I seem to admire your style of writing as compared to enclosed short note of Lino, I believe Mr. Nollas that you could have had taken all the credits and responsibilities in the preparation and compilation of the manuscript. Perhaps you thought you’re too clever and shrewd enough to anticipate cunningly that when an official case of “breach of copyright” should ever be filed against him, you could easily “wash your hands clean and get away so fast” in order to free yourself from any involvement or connection thus leaving him bear the cross all by himself and face any possible consequences that would befall on him in due course. Don’t be too over confident, because if he falls, you’re sure to fall faster than him with both his feet on your head in the end down in a stinking cesspool!

WHO IS THIS RESEARCHER-AUTHOR-PUBLISHER?

In the middle of 1995, when I called by long distance my brother Perfecto in Washington, D.C., telling him that I am doing a research about the Philippines, the life of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the first Filipino and the Brussels history. I had a lengthy conversation touching on all the details pertinent to my works, including the manner in which the publication of the book could be expeditiously carried out.

My brother "Perfecto" admired my ideas, courage, and God given talents. Indeed he was so very supportive of my research and he even invites me to come to the US. In the same year I stayed 3-week in the United States, but most of my time were consumed visiting libraries in Washington D.C.

When I wrote "Born to be a Hero, the history of the Philippines, the national heroes, and the Brussels history. I had in mind the Filipinos in Europe. The Filipino organization leaders suggested to me that I write this book. They said many Filipino children born in Europe have never come to the Philippines and are studying the European history and the lives of European heroes but have no knowledge of the Philippine history and the Filipino heroes. Of course, I realize the great necessity of this, so I decided to write this book which would be beneficial not only to them, but also to our countrymen in the Philippines. I wrote this book in English and some introduction in French language so that the reader will find no difficulty in understanding it. It is my aim and hope that this will enlighten our people and foreigners as well.

This book was written from the point of view of the Filipinos and not of the Spaniards and the Americans. Even so, facts are not twisted to accommodate national prejudices. The facts are allowed to stand as facts, but their interpretations are my responsibility. Consequently, while l discussed the evils of the Spanish administration, I also discussed the good that Spain had done in the Philippines. The same may be said of my treatment of the American period: the good as well as the bad are placed side by side for all to see. This is the essence of impartiality in history. There is no deliberate twisting of facts in order to accommodate friends or to drag down enemies.

I am aware that some aspects of Rizal's biography will prove to be controversial; it is not a hagiography but the story of a human being who, being human, was afflicted with "the headache and the thousand natural shocks that flesh is heir to". Rizal was not perfect, he was not always right, but I trust that those who read this story of his life will perceive that his humanity is precisely the secret of his greatness.

This book is intended for the readers who treasures achievements, love of liberty and freedom. Why not? Born to be a Hero", the Philippines and Dr. José Protacio Rizal. True he was not Napoleon, Stalin or Hitler, like those three brought death to so many, yet is glorified by an otherwise rational people. He was not Lincoln – but only in the sense that he acted on a much smaller stage, a country of little importance to the world because it does little harm. He, too, would set a people free – by bringing light to them and their oppressors. (Lincoln was not too zealous about setting the Negro slaves free at the start.) Rizal faced the problem of human iniquities, injustices committed by the Dominicans and Governor General against his people. Whether he acted rightly or wrongly, his life illumines the problem and obtained respect of people everywhere.

Now comes this book "born to be a hero" by Sir Lino Paras a Belgian-Filipino in Brussels who revered Rizal a Universal man, whose life and death continue to haunt the minds and imaginations of foreigners as well as his countrymen. As tribute to the Philippine National Hero, the researcher-author-publisher mentioned extraordinary human courage, goodness and virtues that a man could have.

Hence, this work requires "enormous labor", as the author-researcher-publisher tediously followed up (for seven years) hundreds of bibliographical references for life, works and writings of Dr. Jose Rizal. The author almost abandoned making this book in 2001, due to the long period of sickness of his wife who died January 21, 2001. His devotion to his subject persists till he found out the unedited documents in archives of Belgium, France, Czech Republic and Spain about Rizal.

Who is this researcher-author-publisher?

He is a Rizalist, named Felino Wy Paras, born on March 15,1944, at the town of Cabiao, Province of Nueva Ecija. A naturalized Belgian with Filipino-Chinese blood born during the year (1944) that the first President of the Philippine Commonwealth, President Manuel L. Quezon, died. According to his father a priest in the town of Arayat, Pampanga, with Tata Ensiong Paras, his godfather, baptized him four months after his birth in complete catholic rites, at the foot of mount Arayat, Pampanga, and this was during the Philippine-Japanese war.

His father was Indolencio Parungao Paras, born May 15,1907 in Cabiao, Province of Nueva Ecija, and his mother was Escolastica Wy, Filipina-Chinese origin and a native of Rosales, Pangasinan, born August 15,1910. Sir Lino Paras has seven (7) brothers, Jose, Perfecto, Alipio, Zoilo, Leonardo, Godofredo, Juanito, and two (2) sisters Corazon and Angelina. He was married to Elsa Aloquina Castor, on September 21,1965 and his wife died after a long period fighting of cancer. They have two (2) sons Fernando and Alberto, both married and have nice family living in Brussels.

Sir Lino Paras immigrated in Belgium in the year 1965 one of the first Filipino established in the heart of Europe. He became the Filipino godfather in the area, not only giving shelter to new Filipino arrivals but extended financial assistance and helped secure job placement most especially for the unemployed Filipinos.

He followed courses at the University Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and Graduated in Master of Business Administration.

In 1977 he joined a company whose specialization was Studio-Radio Television lighting equipment. 1980, he was employed at the Bank Brussels Lambert (BBL) in Brussels, and in 1995, he setup his own businesses: The PhilAir Travel International Sprl, and Fibel Trading International LTD. 1979 he joined several Filipino organizations: The "Asbl" Philippine Sports Community of Brussels (PSC), Benelux Filipino Sports Federation (BFSF), The Alliance, Belga Cultura of Belgium, Belgian Chamber on Philippine Economic Relationship, The "Asbl" Philippine Chaplaincy, Belgian-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and The "Asbl" Philippine Tourism Promotion Office in the Benelux. Presently, a Radio Broadcaster of DZXL-RMN Belgium online "Bantay OCW" with Susan K. and Cesar Padilla.

He married Baniza Lasota Seit on January 30, 2002, a lovely young and talented lady of Negros Oriental, born on August 15, 1979 in Sta. Catalina, Dumaguete City. A Foreign Service Graduate at the Lyceum of the Philippines. She passed the civil Service Examination in 2001,with distinction. Decided to write books and look personally their lovely daughter Marie-Christine rather than joining the government service.

What one to say of the book? It is obviously, as the researcher-author-publisher says a labor of love, and this love makes Rizal come vividly to life. No detail of what controversial life is slurred that would provide insight into a reluctant hero - reluctant, but a hero notwithstanding. The highest moments come, of course, when Rizal himself speaks. What a true man, not a blank figure, is revealed! There is no posturing in his letters, only brilliant mind though "perplexed in the extreme" is exposed, and a beating heart. What he wrote as he await death in the morning would melt a heart of stone. There is no pity for him, only thought for others, for those he loved whom he brought so such suffering when he followed his conscience – a reflection of God's will on earth.

Knowing yourself, what you committed, ommitted, failed or refused to do, what you neglected during your time, despite the numerous VALID & SPECIFIC charges raised against your failed "leadership" (from as far away as Europe and North America, and even back home in the Philippines!) that continously pull the Illustrious KOR to shame and filth, please RESIGN for the sake of delicadeza!

Lazir once more furnishes one of his numerous e-mail charges below, so you have a chance to reply, line-by-line!

Those in the know are aware of the dictum, "innocent until proven guilty!" That applies to you, yes of course!

Yet, the same individuals in the know also understand that silence over time on your part, is implied admission of guilt! If not incompetence, pure and simple! Or both?

Since you are the acting Supreme Commander and accused at the same time, who refuses to step down (at least to preserve the honorrable position!...keep it free from malice for the next Supreme Commander!), you could influence the jury selection/formation and subsequent deliberations of the case at bar -- yours!

Even Dr Jose Rizal, whom you profess to be an ardent follower of, would never ever sit tight nor cling (kapit-tuko!) upon a position, high or low, where there's but the smallest taint of anomaly upon his name and honor! Such was the National Hero that many readers here dearly treasure and are familiar with.

Character-wise, and despite your avid use of Rizalian quotes and verses, you are too far to be near the National Hero's mold!, an ignominious day for the KOR indeed!

In the almost two years you sat as acting Supreme Commander, you never did and still do not possess (not even show!) the Honesty, Integrity, Honor, Principles, etc. etc., Dr Jose Rizal all had in his (well-guarded by the National Hero in his) entire lifetime!

Where's the KOR Sense of Rizal's Moral Values?

All Officers/Members of the Honorable Prague Chapter, All Ladies & Knights concerned,

In the preparations for the September 2009 International KOR Assembly in Prague, Czech Republic, please be guided by thoroughly reading R.A. 646, specifically Section 8, when you invite IHQ officials, particularly Quiambao and Esguerra!

Any IHQ official, incumbent or former Supreme Commander, writing, propagating lies is no rightful KOR representative!

Any person or respectable Knight, ought to know we cannot disrespect the honorable and illustrious Czech guests and citizens by presenting to them UNDESERVING KOR officials! Doing so would be tantamount to a diplomatic affront, accompanied by negative repercussions!

When a leader starts propagating lies, unfounded/malicious accusations (to save his own or the skin of his friends?), TIME for him/them to step down, cut clean! Rizalism is not for liars and those engaged in double talk!

Esguerra in his 18 June 2009 memo once more repeated the same charges against Lazir but NEVER provided any single evidence! A desperate loser!

Lazir has validated the accusations vs. Esguerra & Quiambao with verifiable proof provided (attached) and indicated below!

“Powerful?" IHQ but mere charges vs. Lazir w/o Proof? Have the duo above forgotten that Lazir "is innocent until proven guilty" -- one of the time-tested maxims in Law? Anyone in the Philippines willing to apply for Quiambao's disbarment, on the grounds that he does not know his law?

Their (Esguerra's, Samuela's) premise is that Lazir shamed the organization with his writings! Well, Lazir wrote NOTHING about KOR events before and during 1999/2000/2001/2002/2003/2004/2005! Perhaps some e-mails in 2006?

Quiambao headed the Supreme Council 1999/2000! He and Esguerra cannot explain the missing approx. Euro 5,000 donated by Mushake, confirmed thru telephone with Lazir in 2008!??? Sir Barry Bowman sent out the EXCEL spreadsheet worldwide of all Mushake donations of many years, but no mention was made of this missing approx. Euro 5,000! WHY? Pocketed by Lazir? Lazir's fault?

This duo, Quiambao and Esguerra, both violators of Sec 4, R.A. 646, not in possession of Good Moral Character, have no right to call themselves Knights of Dr Jose Rizal, and hereby lost the moral ascendancy to govern this (once) illustrious organization!

Quiambao as 1999/2000 Supreme Commander violated Sec 7, R.A. 646, to wit:

Any donation or contribution which from time to time may be made to the corporation..., shall be expended by the Supreme Council solely to promote the purposes for which the corporation is organized.

Former Supreme Commander Esguerra and former Council of Elders member Quiambao could be hailed to court or jail for violation of Sec 8, R.A. 646, to wit:

From and after the passage of this Act, it shall be unlawful for any person to falsely and fraudulently call himself as, or represent himself to be, a member of, an agent for, the Knights of Rizal; and any person who violates any of the provisions of this Act shall be punished by imprisonment of not to exceed six months or a fine not exceeding five hundred pesos, or both, in the discretion of the court.

Esguerra's lies automatically eroded the Good Moral Character he once had! Lacking this basic requirement on Good Moral Character, he automatically SEPARATED/OUTED himself as a KOR member, even erasing his KGCR rank, title and sash! If Esguerra, by his own doing, is no longer a KOR member, how can he be a Supreme Commander??!

Esguerra knows about the approx. Euro 5,000 given to the KOR. He even wrote a memo addressed to Mushake, impugning that Lazir accuses several IHQ officials (Truth? Lazir targeted his questions at Esguerra as 2008 leader and at Quiambao as 1999/2000 leader!). Yet, Esguerra never issued any Memo asking Quiambao, the 1999/2000 Supreme Commander, "What happened to the funds?" Then he gets mad that Lazir calls him INCOMPETENT, although fitting to Esguerra, since knowing about such funds, where it went, etc. form part and parcel of his job!

Negligence, incompetence, if not ommission..., Esguerra could also be added on the "charge sheet" as accessory to Quiambao and violator of Sec 7, R.A. 646 since he knew of the funds' existence, but never even bothered to have it investigated by Samuel Samuela!, to the DETRIMENT of the entire OKOR organization! Esguerra is not fit to be Supreme Commander of any Rizalist organization for displaying PARTIALITY (favoring Quiambao, Paras, Alcoba and those UNDESERVING he exalted!) not befitting a Knight of Dr Jose Rizal, but showing untoward and heavy-handed treatment of the Sir Jun Zerrudo and Moreno cases. Uncalled for, foul, Mahmoud!

Being a proven liar and now NON-MEMBER of the KOR, Esguerra violates Sec 8, R.A. 646 if he comes to Prague acting or MIS-representing the KOR as "Supreme Commander"!

Quiambao remains silent although as 1999/2000 Supreme Commander, he had the duty then and (more so) now, to explain where these approx. Euro 5,000 went! Failure to do this is violation of Sec 7, R.A. 646! Now he is also a FORMER member of the KOR for losing his KOR membership when he lost his Good Moral Character! Bye!

Quiambao already brought SHAME upon the KOR as early as 1999/2000 and April 2001, simply by promoting UNDESERVING Paras to KGOR! But why must Esguerra, if he is righteous, impartial, single out Lazir, when his (Esguerra's) friend, benefactor and predecessor Quiambao, his appointee Paras and those he promoted, though undeserving, are not prosecuted by Samuel Samuela for the same charge of "bringing shame upon the organization", as early as 1999/2000? Myopic Samuela and Esguerra?

One KOR Manual applicable for Lazir, another KOR Manual for Quiambao/Esguerra, their friends and backers?

Esguerra owes all Honorable Knights a BIG explanation! Even as he says goodbye as KOR's incompetent, lying and inutile Supreme Commander, as proven by Lazir!

In addition, Quiambao and Esguerra alone are to blame for their foul acts that disturbed the PEACE and UNITY of the organization, long before Lazir became active picking the cudgels for Knights who tremble, are afraid to do their knightly duty FIGHTING FOR RIZALISM!

A Supreme Commander must act and behave like a true Rizalist, beyond reproach (Esguerra failed this litmus test!), BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT! Lying, writing lies, hurling unfounded & malicious accusations singling out one, but not his TAINTED friends, is totally un-Rizalian, totally un-acceptable!

If Esguerra knows how to cut clean (cleaner than Marcos?, cleaner than GMA?), he should now turn-over his job to the incumbent KOR Deputy Supreme Commander, so the latter can start running the OKOR properly, orderly, correctly as called for per the KOR Constitution & By-Laws, the Manual, and R.A. 646! Staying longer, Esguerra becomes a ballast and a continuous loser, a burden to the organization!

Should Esguerra refuse to leave his current post without delay, TIME for all proud, honorable KOR Knights and Chapters worldwide to disown him!

Lazir already did!

Long before 20 June 2009, Lazir already refused to accept/honor Esguerra's signature even on Lazir's exaltation to the next higher rank, reportedly signed in 2008(?) by Esguerra! Lazir and many others knew he (Lazir) deserved his exaltation, but Lazir is convinced that Esguerra does NOT DESERVE to exalt Lazir!

Lazir also refuses to recognize any act or any signature of Esguerra, ab initio (effective from the date April 2007?, or earlier?, when Esguerra effectively LOST his KOR membership..., thru his own act, by default)!

Lazir recommends to Esguerra & Quiambao to buy the song of Coritha, "Oras Na!"

Lastly, now Paras can recite to this duo their "Huling Paalam" (not the one Andres Bonifacio translated into Pilipino, please...!)

KOR Leaders Quiambao & Esguerra Acting Like GMA...?

KOR IHQ's latest Memo No. 38 dated 04 June 2009 on Dr Jose Rizal's Birth Anniversary this 19 June 2009 didn't indicate the name of the "supreme commander"! The BLANK name seems to be more appropriate, if not fitting.

Lazir has no respect for liars! Esguerra wrote he doesn't tolerate abusive words, yet he himself personally exalted Alcoba, author of abusive words, to KGOR! Isn't that proof of Esguerra's lying? Although now exposed for wrongdoing, Esguerra won't issue any apologetic note!? Who does he think he is? Even the Holy Father apologizes for his or for others' mistakes!

Didn't Esguerra write he is against racism, yet he never expelled proven racists Paras (had racistic outburst somewhere in the Black Forest, Germany) and Alcoba (even insulting Sir Barry Bowman in writing)! Esguerra is a proven liar then, or?

Just like the abusive and corrupt Philippine government, KOR leadership in the persons of Rogelio Quiambao & Virgilio Esguerra must know that the patience of good, honorable and illustrious Knights are running thin!

Quiambao & Esguerra at the control might stay for a while, but surely their hold to power will come to an abrupt end!

Whether they want a SHAMEFUL/IGNOMINOUS END or a respectable one..., depends entirely upon their actions!

This early, Lazir is telling the whole wide world that no abusive and incompetent Supreme Commander, whether it is Mr 5x himself, a.k.a. as Quiambao, or 2x Esguerra, can control and stop the propagation of Rizalian ideas, principles and teachings!

The duo perhaps speak nicely of Dr Jose Rizal, but their actions in Europe and elsewhere are contrary to what the Great Malayan taught us, more violative of Sec 4, R.A. 646 on good moral character, than anything else!

Quiambao can only be corrupt for having promoted Paras even with fake reports, mountains of lies and empty, invented words! Clearly a case of "scratch my back and I'll scratch yours too!" Quiambao's son might have stayed in the Paras household for many months, but friendships and private dealings such as these have no appropriate bearing upon Rizalism, KOR ranks/titles/positions/sashes!

The KOR Manual, rules/regulations, R.A. 646 are there that Quiambao should know by heart -- better than Lazir.

Esguerra must be incompetent for having approved the undeserving Guansing, Plueckebaum, Nollas and Alcoba promotions to KGOR, for seemingly NO VALID REASONS(!) thereby bringing more SHAME upon the illustrious KOR organization! What could qualify such KGOR promotions where no valid reasons exist, in conformity with the KOR Manual, regulations and R.A. 646!?? Didn't Quiambao himself reported last minute "awards" given during the Manila International Assembly of February 2009??!

Plueckebaum got his KGOR last February! If valid, can we see the recommendation/s or copy of approved documents? Or was the Plueckebaum KGOR promotion a reward for denouncing Lazir? In a similar fashion that Paras denounced Ms Faith Bautista to the Belgian DFA?

And everyone should tolerate such abuse in the KOR?

What is foul is that Esguerra and his subordinate Samuel Samuela in 2008 blamed/faulted Moreno, instead of rightfully blaming Quiambao and Paras who have been abusing their positions within the KOR organization, bringing SHAME upon it, as early as March 2001, if not much earlier!

Lazir has been reporting about these KOR abuses in Europe since 2006 or 2007. But Quiambao and Paras have been working together as early as 05 March 2001, when Paras and his ignominous boys petitioned Quiambao to give Paras the KGOR! Well, in 1-2 months, Paras became KGOR in Florida, thanks, NO THANKS! to Quiambao!

In the absence of valid grounds to exalt Paras to KGOR (KCR? KOR?), Esguerra as Supreme Commander should have taken those exaltations back and returned them to IHQ! Failing to do so is incompetent upon Esguerra!

Worse, Esguerra, instead of acting upon Lazir's valid complaints, reacted by persecuting, disciplining and expelling Moreno in the later part of 2008/early 2009!

Nothing personal, but Lazir will not STOP until abusive, incompetent and corrupt KOR leaders in the name of whoever, they be Quiambao or Esguerra, start respecting the honorable name of the national hero, thru their own resignation/s!

No Sir, we are avid followers of the Pride of the Malay Race, Dr Jose Rizal!

No, I have no quarrels with my local Wilhelmsfeld-Heidelberg Chapter! I am not aware of any reason why I cannot see my Chapters' honorable brother Knights straight eye-to-eye! Lazir merely propagates the Rizalian truth! Anyone who can't take that has a problem with Rizalism, not with Lazir!

Take note please, there are good and honorable men at the IHQ! Unfortunately for Quiambao and Esguerra, they don't have their looks nor their last names!

Slowly but surely, these duo will have the same fate as the giant dinosaurs!

We hope to eliminate unemployment and underemployment by 2021, if not sooner.
